The instructions state "no need to turn over for browning". This is not true. It doesn't brown on both sides; the air fryer leaves food soggy on the bottom, the toast browns only on the top. The only good thing about this product is easy cleaning. Beware, the basket and catch tray scorches easily.

Does it's job and does it well

I've heard people talk about air fryers as miracle appliances that can replace half of the kitchen. I was skeptical, and my skepticism was correct, sort of. The Ninja Foodi isn't a miracle. It's a solid, functional appliance that serves its intended purpose and does it well. The overblown hype made me dismiss air fryers as a trend. My 20 year old toaster oven worked fine. Then, someone gave me a Ninja Foodi as a gift, and I was stunned. Just the cook time alone blew me away. I used to stick the bread in the toaster oven before starting my eggs, and sometimes I still had to wait for the toast. Now, it just takes a couple of minutes. I'm also using it almost daily for tortilla pizzas and small batch baking. I love that it swivels to snug up against the back of the counter, leaving me with plenty of usable counter space. The only additional feature that I would like to see is the ability to adjust for frozen bread. I keep my bread in the freezer because I don't go through a loaf before it goes bad, and I'm still figuring out how to adjust the shade to account for the difference.

Does it's job but has some flaws

Overall, the ninja does it's job. We do not have a microwave so we use this daily to warm up everything from snacks to frozen pizzas on top of using it to cook, air fry, etc. We have had it for a about 3 years now and it is starting to die. It isn't heating the food like it used to and just seems like it is on it's last leg. I would have thought that it would last a bit longer than 3 years. One of my major issues with this specific ninja fryer is how difficult it is to clean! Yes, the bottom does open and you are able to access it that way. However, if food splatters on the top or on the heating elements, it is almost impossible to get off. Even though I clean it often, it looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a very long time because of this. Another issue is that it just isn't that tall. You can't put anything too thick in it because it won't fit. A pizza, sure works fine... an item stacked on top of each other...not so much. My daughter made nachos once and the chips on top of each other were too tall even with minimal chips and cheese,

Bought one for Christmas and use it every day! We never use our full sized oven any more. The only inconvenience is that it leaks a little oil dripping from time to time. You should also make a flippable air fryer basket for foods that require turning over.

Top of oven is difficult to clean

I like some aspects of the cleaning capabilities. The underside hatch is convenient for removing crumbs and wiping down parts of the inside. It would be nice if the heating elements could be removed as it’s very difficult cleaning the top of the oven this is where the majority of the splatter ends up when using the air fryer mode. Aside from that, it’s been a very nice appliance. We use it for a variety of things (i.e. toasting bagels, reheating fries, air frying frozen nuggets, etc…).

I have had my Ninja for almost 2 years it’s Great! I cook vegetables potatoes, cookies, rolls pizza, quiche, bacon and chicken cutlets it’s wonderful. It took a good week to know and use the different settings and yes I referred back to the booklet on how to make things. Best purchase I made in a long time. This Ninja replaced my GE toaster oven of 41 years. I would definitely buy this again

I really like this air fryer - but with two really important failings. One, there isn't enough headroom for a lot of food and some can touch the top elements while cooking. Two, it's really difficult to clean the inside splatter from food such as chicken.

My husband and I love this all-in-one toaster over by Ninja. We use it daily, from toasting bagels and bread to baking full-sized pizzas. We love it so much, we convinced my parents to get one as well. The 13 in. diameter allows us to make just about anything in here. The air fryer option really is just a strong convention oven, but is great for making frozen "crispy" foods and getting a more even bake.

There are so many things I LOVE about this. I have dehydrated apples, air fried just about everything and roasted chicken, lamb and beef. We use it all summer instead of an oven. Makes freak cookies and bread. Cons:It’s hard to clean, can’t cook a whole ton of food. Toast can be uneven at times and take longer than a toaster would

This is my first air fryer, and I’m finding it doesn’t have the same results as others seem to. I’ve tried several recipes and the food is never done in the amount of time recommended. It takes longer to crisp pretty much everything I make. I bought this one because I wanted to just replace my toaster oven rather than adding another appliance I don’t have room for. The toaster works great, but the air fryer is hit and miss. Now I’m not sure I made the right choice.

After only having this air fryer for a few years, it completely shut down - broken! Also, there is barely any height room to even bake a potato. Totally not worth your money. There are other better air fryer toaster ovens for a lot less.

We love this oven and use it daily, sometimes multiple times a day. Coming up on the one-year mark and the Time button no longer works. Want to Air Roast for 14 minutes? Well you’ll have to run the machine for two 7-minute sessions. I’m very disappointed that it already died on me. And like others, I agree that it is a beast to clean and never really “feels” clean.

I purchased this in store on 4/3/2023, it was one sale for $100 off the original price and the last one in stock. It was completely sealed and had the wrapping on it. Yet, IT WAS MISSING THE AIR FRY BASKET!!! It only came with the wire rack and the pan. Not only was it missing one of the most important parts of an air fryer, it also has disgusting grease caked on the window. This is completely unacceptable!!! It definitely seems like someone returned it after using it and an employee did not check to see if it had been used before putting it back on the sales floor. This was a complete waste of my time.
