Owlet Dream Sock Plus Child Monitor - Green

We used the Owlet 2 for our daughter 6 years ago and didn’t know how we were going to live without it once she out grew it! She was born prematurely and this amazing device gave us immense peace of mind. We always practiced safe sleeping but looking over in the dark and seeing that soft pulsing green light made you know everything was ok. The sock was extremely helpful during colds since she always had severe upper respiratory infections that required nebulizer treatments. We could safely monitor her heart rate and oxygen levels. I’m writing this review because we almost did not purchase the outlet sleep sock for our son since we heard that there were changes made from the Owlet 2 and it didn’t function the same way in real time. I took a leap of faith and bought the product and I couldn’t be happier that I did! While changes were made, it still functions pretty much the same although the oxygen average is on a 10 minute delay, the heart rate is real time and it immediately lets you know if your baby needs assistance. We received a purple alert not a week ago when our babies heart rate climbed above the acceptable limits and were able to take him to the emergency room for treatment. We never would have known that there was an issue otherwise. RSV followed and we were able to keep a watchful eye, monitor his oxygen levels, and once again, know when we needed to take him for help in the middle of the night. This is worth every penny and more. Don’t hesitate for another minute, it will be the best thing you ever purchased for your child!

The Owlet Dream Sock (or "magic sock" as we call it) has been a game changer and we've used it every single night for the past 9 months. My sister bought me the sleep sock when she found out I was expecting because she knew how much of a worry wart my husband and I both are. I am so thankful for this gift. It has allowed me as a first time Mom to rest, knowing that if something were to go wrong while I was asleep, the dream sock would alert me. I don’t put my daughter to bed at night unless she has the dream sock on.

I love that I can track my babies heart rate and oxygen levels when she is sleeping! Gives me peace of mind and helps me also sleep much better!

We have add our Owlet and have used it since our little one was born, she is now 9 months. Our daughter came down with Pneumonia and this was a piece of mind making sure her O2 levels stayed in a good range.

My 4 month old daughter had RSV and we were able to determine when to take her to the hospital based on her O2 levels. The owlet sock has helped me get through many stress filled nights knowing it would wake me if her HR or oxygen was too low. If you can afford it, you won’t regret the purchase. The only adjustment I would like to see made is being able to change the range of HR or O2 levels at which you are notified.

When my daughter started sleeping on her stomach my anxiety hit an all time high. The Owlet completely changed that. It’s so comforting knowing she’s safe & breathing well. Also, I love knowing what stage of sleep she’s in. It’s much more accurate than the Nanit.

We got the owlet for our first child. It has given my husband and I SO much peace of mind. We absolutely love it!!!!!

Our son is a preemie and was in the NICU for 11 days, so we got used to watching the monitors for his O2, heart rate and more. This sock is a lifesaver for us in terms of quelling our anxiety while he sleeps. I'd be up every five seconds watching him breathe if not for this little sock. Of course, it's not perfect: my main complaint is the range of the sock to the base station isn't very good, especially in this day and age with bluetooth technology how it is.

We love being able to monitor our baby's stats and watch sleep patterns. Putting on the sock has been a part of our nightly routine since day 1! While I love the new sock/app, I do wish the O2 stats would be included in the sleep history like it was before.

The Dream Sock has been a god-send for us, our baby was born at 34 weeks and after a long stent in the NICU having him home was great but at night when we wanted to sleep I would sit and watch him. I couldn't sleep without constantly making sure he was breathing. Because of this, I was sleep deprived, and not because my baby wasn't sleeping because he was!! The owlet dream sock saved our daughter's life. She was born with a heart condition that we and the doctors were unaware of at birth. At 2 weeks old the owlet monitor notified us that her heart rate was in the 270's. She had no physical symptoms and it happened while she was sleeping, so we would have had no idea had we not had the sock on her. Thank you, thank you, thank you for doing what you do. I bought this 2 month ago for our baby girl we couldn’t catch her oxygen or heart rate when it dipped the owlet has caught her episodes when she dips in oxygen and her doctor is now recommending the owlet for other patients.

I bought this system prior to my daughter being born. She has used the owlet sock for my piece of mind nearly every night, only reason she has not worn it all night is the base and sock have to be pretty close together or your phone and the base both alarm and no one can sleep through it. Wish it would reach further. Otherwise love the system and am glad we have it for our sweet baby.

I’m normally a pretty anxious person, so when I was pregnant with baby #2 after 12 years I knew I wanted the owlet sock for my little one. I hoped it would bring me some peace of mind. My anxiety postpartum is much worse than I could have anticipated my mind has become the enemy. Having the owlet has seriously saved my mental health. I never thought the owlet would be so important in our daily routine. I have so much peace of mind when she wears it and at any time I can check her. Even if my daughter is with grandma at home when I go to the store I can check on her and rest assure my daughter is ok. I love that I can also track the quality of sleep my daughter had. This has helped us in finding out how she sleeps best which has in turn helped us to get her to sleep through the night. I was able to figure out a specific sleep sack actually had given her better quality of sleep during the night. All in all if my sock stopped working tomorrow I would run out and buy it again. After my sweet one was born 6 weeks early and was admitted to the NICU for respiratory distress I was seeking anything to give me peace while we are sleeping. I didn’t realize when I bought it that it will track her sleep/awake cycle. It’s very comforting knowing how well she sleeps and when she might be ready to sleep again.
