Not bad but definitely not restaurant style. Also it says that it is 3 servings and each serving is half a cup but once measured it only comes out to 2 servings (2 half cups). Not a problem but if you are counting calories it may be something to pay attention too.

The reviews lied to me! This doesn't taste like the panang curry I tried from the Thai restaurant. Luckily I had the Panang curry paste from Mae Ploy so I could salvage the chicken and the veggies. But this is not the Panang curry I'm accustomed to

My favorite meal of the week because it makes prep so easy, and my family’s favorite because it tastes so good. I just heat up some frozen cubes of Good & Gather ginger and garlic with whatever veggies I have - onions, broccoli, cauliflower, green onions. Sometimes I add a protein like chicken, shrimp or tofu. Add some noodles (or serve over rice). Then add the sauce, top with green onions and cilantro- dinner is done! Easy way to sneak in way more veggies for my kids. So versatile, I think I prepare it differently each time. Tastes amazing!

I can’t speak to how authentic it is, but it’s yummy! You can really taste the peanut butter and the flavors are really good. I like to simmer chicken in it and serve it over couscous with naan.

This is probably one of the worst sauces I’ve ever had. This tastes absolutely nothing like actual Panang Curry. It carries an array of flavors, none of which belong in the same meal - much less the same sauce. I gave some to a friend who thought I had fed them a spoonful of mustard. I genuinely think this jar of dog throw up is a contributing factor to the nations collective xenophobia. Please for the sake of all Thai people everywhere and just food in general, take this off the shelves, or at the very least change the recipe to make it edible. Either would be a good starting point.

A total win!!!! An easy dinner-maker. This isn’t exactly panang curry... However, this reminds me so much of massaman curry - a peanut curry that combines Thai flavors with Persian/Indian/Malay flavors - which is actually my favorite style of Thai curry ever. If you like massaman curry I highly recommend!! I pre-cooked some chicken meatballs 3/4 of the way, and then sautéed some fresh and frozen veggies. Then I added the sauce and thinned it out with some chicken stock & coconut milk, added more fish sauce and some general seasoning. I added the chicken meatballs back in and simmered for about 10 mins until the meatballs were fully cooked and served over rice, topped with roasted peanuts, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime. So good!!! If you want spicier, just add some chili paste or sriracha.

Not sure this is truly Panang but it's delicious. Another reviewer notes white "hairs" - this sauce features ginger and yes, there are fine white fibers in freshly grated ginger.
