About the Book

In the newest installment in the Harrigan family series by "New York Times"-bestselling author Anderson, an unlikely couple is brought together under circumstances that defy all reason. Original.

Book Synopsis

An unlikely couple is brought together by circumstances that defy all reason in this timeless romance in the Harrigan Family series from New York Times bestselling author Catherine Anderson.

Tragedy has struck the Harrigans--Quincy's beloved sister-in-law Loni is gravely ill and nearing death. Quincy, like his brothers, feels helpless to save her, and the clock is ticking. Then, with perfect timing, a winsome red-haired woman named Ceara O'Ceallaigh mysteriously appears on Quincy's property and insists that Loni can be cured. Only Quincy, she says, as the sole remaining Harrigan bachelor, can make it happen--by marrying Ceara.

To Quincy, Ceara is a charming and quite likely deranged spinner of dreams who can't prove she's telling the truth. But how can he pass up any attempt to restore Loni to health? Against all better judgment, he decides to marry Ceara. Maybe he's making the worst mistake of his life. Or maybe he's opening himself up to possibilities that will send him on a miraculous journey toward enough love to last forever.

Outstanding time travel romance

I have read most of Catherine Anderson's books and have many favorites. Perfect Timing is now at the top of my list. This book includes so many of my favorite things in a romance. Quincy, our hero, is a rugged cowboy with strong family values and loyalty to family. Ceara, our heroine, is a charming druid who has come from 1574 to save Quincy's dying sister-in-law. I love time travelers who come forward in time. So many delightful episodes of Quincy trying to explain our world to her. Romance, fantasy, family values all make for a wonderful read.

I would definitely say that this book met all of my expectations plus some. It brings past and present, supernatural and non-supernatural together in a way that flows so easily together that you barely even notice it. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for something fun, exciting and romantic to read.

A MUST read

I love her books because they are so real-- the characters don't miraculously have everything turn perfect by the end of the book. I love the real problems and they deal with That being said, I wasn't sure if I was going to like the paranormal element being brought into this story line. I was wrong, I was crying by page 9 and again at the end and laughing in between. Anderson works the druid element into the Harrigan family flawlessly. Perfect timing was missing none of the heart warming family dynamics present in her other books. I hate when reviewers give away the story, so I will just say that Catherine Anderson weaves a story in Perfect Timing that will touch your heart, bring tears to your eyes and make you laugh. I read it in less than a day and it's going on the keeper shelf I received a complimentary copy of this book as part of the review team, however, all opinions are 100 straight from my heart

Fantastic book!!!!!

Please note that this review is for Catherine Anderson's "Perfect Timing", released 2/26/13. At the time of this review, the picture of the book is not the same book that I am reviewing. The book showing at this time is for Cheyenne Amber, which I have not read yet. [...] I couldn't put the book down by page 4. I am sad to see this series come to an end, but what a way to end it! I would recommend this book to fans of Catherine Anderson's that are okay with a story that is a bit different than what you might be used to seeing from her. I would also recommend this series to anyone that has never read anything by this author. You won't be disappointed! This book had me laughing and crying then laughing some more. I loved having the connection with the characters from previous books. I hope you enjoy the book as much as I did.

Perfect timing with a twist

I received this book as part of Catherine's review team - Catherine Anderson's Perfect Timing was an AMAZING book! This book is a modern day romance with an odd twist! Quincy finds his true love in the most unexpected way possible...Ceara a woman from the 1500's!! Ceara travels through time to marry the last son in a family that was cursed long ago...what neither of them expected was the connection and happily ever after they would find. Quincy had his work cut out for him with Ceara though teaching and explaining 21st century inventions! My one suggestion is at first be near a computer or smartphone because some of Ceara's terms are a little confusing...but once you get the hang of her old Irish terms and how she speaks in general - you are good to go!! This is one book you don't want to miss!

Target has the wrong picture up for this book. Red Alert to Target! I got this book early as a reviewer, and the actual book has red tulips on the cover. Anyhow, this book, Perfect Timing, came into my life with perfect timing! I really needed a wonderful book to read, and this one carried me away! I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did!

They've got the wrong cover. I have this book. Got it early to review it. Something went way wrong because the actual cover has red flowers on it, not a white horse. But as the old saying goes, never judge a book vy its cover! This story is wonderful! I enjoyed it from start to finish, and then I went back to page one and read it all over again. I'm thinking when I need a lift, I'll be returning to this story again and again.

Absolutely the most fun I've had reading a book in a while! Family, devotion, sisterhood, love and faith. This story will have you so engrossed that you will not want to put the book down - except to make it last a little longer! A definite MUST read, and a wonderful addition to any collection!

I was chosen to receive a advanced copy of this book. Though it's not my favorite Catherine Anderson book, it is my favorite for the Harrigan series. A good book can make you laugh, cry, and in general feel the emotions of the characters. This book is it. I felt like I was in the room with the characters. Like I was part of the story. Another great job on another great story Anderson.

Another Great Read!!!

I was blessed to recieve this book in advance. Another Great read by Catherine Anderson!!!! In a way I almost felt sorry for Quincy, ALMOST I do admit at the beginning you get very frustrated at Quincy because he is SO stubborn, which is where I was at. I also laughed throughout the ENTIRE book, and cried. Once again it is Catherine Anderson at her best! I couldn't put it down. I am glad to be part of her review team. She showed family unity at its best! Everyone pulled together for not only Loni but Ceara. This book shows that with a little faith ANYTHING is possible. While in the beginning Quincy was stubborn about the how and why Ceara came to be there. He finally came to realize all it takes is a little faith.
