The waistband is very thick and is designed to offer compression that can help support weakened abdominal muscles after a pregnancy when your body is in that transitional postpartum phase. It may be possible for some people to find them comfortable through pregnancy, but it's more likely that the fit would be entirely too tight and compressive. There is very little stretch and give, by design.

Q: Would these be comfortable for someone after a c-section? The inseam looks like it runs right across where my insicion is for a c-section.

Trust me, you need these! These sit high on your waist, above belly button. I wore them postpartum, and it helped everything feel secure. They are tight, but not wearing a corset can’t breathe tight. I am now 3 month pp, and still love them. I never worry about them falling down and the material is top quality (think LuLu). I wish they had more colors and lengths (3/4 length). I could not imagine wearing them pregnant, again they are tight! Bought my pre pregnancy size and they fit me great!

The seam at the top of the belly band is very thick and very hard and digs in and I’m only 135 pounds 5 foot 8 and got size medium. My pooch is small. doesn’t make sense. This would be so uncomfortable. There’s also a seam, which is the bottom of the belly that cuts in to your skin and makes a dent. The rest of the pant legs these leggings are soft and nice, but the whole purpose is for compression, and to help smooth things, and that part failed for me because of the terrible seams. I can’t get over how thick the top seam is.

These run extremely small. I sized up, got them on and they were so snug on my belly. Really odd for this brand that tends to run big in the other bottom I purchased.

Bought these leggings two years ago and they were so great, I still wear them. They only just started piling on the inside of the thighs. I recently bought a second pair and unfortunately they are slightly thinner and they already look more worn after only two washes. They are still pretty comfortable and compression is nice for postpartum. I just don't see them lasting as long.

(These are POSTPARTUM leggings only- they would be way too tight during pregnancy beyond first trimester.) These are a good alternative to just wearing high waisted athletic leggings, which I have been doing a lot postpartum. I have some moderate diastasis, muscle weakness and loose skin after getting pretty big with my 3rd, and these provide really good abdominal compression but are still soft and comfortable. Prepregnancy size or one size larger is probably best, especially in the first few months.

These are amazing!!! I’m TINY, 4’11’’ and at 20 weeks pregnant I couldn’t find any leggings that fit. I’m a 00 pre pregnancy so I only have a little belly, but I don’t fit into normal leggings because they’re all compression which hurt the growing tummy. These are PERFECT! They fit now and there’s definitely room for me to grow. I got the XS for reference. Oh and they’re buttery soft! Comfiest leggings I’ve ever owned!!!

Absolute favorite after having a c-section. I bought my usual xs size and although I’m 15-20 pounds heavier than pre baby, they fit. They’re tight, amazing compression, but that’s why I love them — they help me not feel so huge and out of sync with my body after having a baby. Pretty much the only leggings I’ve been wearing and I’m now 12 weeks postpartum. Highly recommend these. I looked forever for additional pairs after my first and finally found them online and am buying 2 more pairs. As others said, wish there were more colors!
