Q: Hi! Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate and Polyquaternium-7 is not listed on the bottle I own. I also checked the actual company website and the ingredient list is not accurate as well. Has this been reformulated?

Q: Why do the wood tips become moldy in the shower, the glue heats up in the shower and causes the tops to pop off. Can you add some sort of wood sealer in the future? Love the smell of the body wash but the bottle gets so gross within two weeks.

I have color treated hair box dye and my hair normally gets oily every 2 days. I started using the mango bounce formula shampoo once every 3 days and it cleans my hair very well without oil build up or drying my hair out. It smells like sweet mango but I prefer flowery or masculine scents. I bought it due to good reviews and non harsh ingredients. No regrets.

I really like other Raw Sugar products, and was looking for another Shampoo/Conditioner to try. I did research and noticed some people saying these were drying while others were happy with them. I went to Target and smelled them and I guess let my nose sell me on the product, which is funny becuase when I actually used the shampoo, I didn't like the smell at all. It has a weird sulfuric smell to it. The reviewers were correct however. The shampoo and conditioner are extremely drying. I can barely comb my hair with my wide tooth comb afterwards, which I never have had a problem doing before. It felt like my entire head was full of matts. Thankfully I had some of the old shampoo and conditioner I was using before which was the Loreal Elvive, and while I don't care for the smell of it, it is not drying and I have no issues combing my wet hair out. I would never buy this again and I don't recommend this product for people who need moisturizing hair care.

I hate to leave a review like this because I really like raw sugar products, but I have been using this shampoo for quite a few months now and my scalp is really itchy, red and dry and my hair is falling out. My husband is also experiencing itchy, red scalp and our scalps are hurting all the time and my daughter who is seven is also experiencing hair loss. When I was researching the products on Google hair loss came right up and there’s an article about how the surfactants in raw sugar shampoo are irritating for some people and can cause hair loss. As much as I love raw sugar products, people need to know that their hair can fall out from using the shampoo.

If you highlight or dye your hair this is perfectly safe to use on it. Your color will not fade with this vegan shampoo. I like the scent. It is very light and you can smell the mango. It is just the right amount of scent and not overbearing. I highlight my hair, so it does get damaged and dry at times. Since I have started using this shampoo I have noticed that my hair feels healthier. It is smoother, shinier, and more moisturized and hydrated. It does not look as frizzy as before. Since this is sulfate free you do not need to use a lot, and be aware that it will not sud up as much as regular shampoos do. Don't think the shampoo isn't working because it doesn't sud up much. It is working. I will be buying this again once I run out. It has helped my hair quite a bit.
