I LOVE Reese’s but the past 6-7 times I have gotten them at different locations they have all been stale. As soon as I have opened them the chocolate has a dull whiteness to it and the peanut butter is dry and crumbly. It literally breaks my heart since I have loved Reese’s since I was a kid. I even tried looking for a BB date and tried to find one that wasn’t within the next couple of months. But have had no luck finding ones that weren’t stale. Really wish I could find some that were still edible.

Reese's has been my favorite candy for over 30 years. I have always kept a large stock on hand because it has always been my go to snack. What makes this unique is that I hate chocolate but love peanut butter. I always have told people that Reese's are just that good that I even enjoy the chocolate. I noticed at some point in the past couple of years something changed with either the ratio or the recipe or something with the chocolate used because no matter which I try from my original favorite standard Reese's Cup, to the King Size, Big Cup, All Seasonal Products, Thins, Minis etc. I just can't do it anymore as the chocolate flavor is overwhelming to me and ruins the experience. I have since discovered the White Creme Reese's as an alternative but begrudgingly so. I miss my favorite candy and cant begin to explain how incredibly disappointing it has been to me to stop purchasing it after so many years of it being my favorite.

What happened Reese’s? You used to be my absolute favorite candy in the world. The last few years you have changed your formula. I think it’s time we break up, and it’s not me it’s you. The Reese’s I remember was delicious and Reese’s of today have a weird flavor, overly sweet and melt as your eating it. It’s not even chocolate anymore. I’d give anything to go back in time and have an old Reese’s cup when they were still good.
