Q: If I had placed this over my fireplace, and I don't have a cabinet underneath, where can I place the connection box out of sight? How large is the box?

submitted by Lindamail - 14 days ago
  • A: Hi Lindamail - The One Invisible Connection cable allows you to place your TV accessories wherever works best for you. The dimensions of the One Connect Box are 13.7 x 2.6 x 5.4 (WxHxD in inches). ~ Samsung Specialist

Q: Hi does this come with the One Connect box?

submitted by MMarka - 18 days ago
  • A: Hi MMarka! Yes, The Frame TV comes with a One Connect Box, allowing you to connect your components to one separate box, not to the back of the TV. Your TV is connected to the One Connect Box with the One Invisible Connection – a translucent cable allowing you to place your TV accessories wherever works best for you. ~ Samsung Specialist

Q: Can this TV be mounted with a different mount that can pull it away from the wall and angle it to the right or left? Or can it only be flush against the wall?

submitted by Claire - 2 months ago
  • A: Hi Claire! The Frame TV comes with a Slim Fit Wall Mount for mounting flush to the wall. However, if you want to mount it on an extendable arm/full motion wall mount, it's also VESA Compliant and works with any universal wall mount or stand that is also VESA Compliant and designed for the TV's size. For the 55" Frame TV, you'd need a VESA bolt pattern of 200mm x 200mm. Hope this helps! ~ Samsung Specialist

Avoid the headache

Purchased the Frame TV, auto rotate mount, and professional installations thereof from samsung.com. The installers did not know how to install the rotating mount (only standard mount) and requested money to buy more mounting equipment at store during installation. After the additional equipment, they did put the TV on standard mount. TV seemed to have cool features and art did look nice but the TV kept freezing while trying to use and wouldn’t recognize any product plugged into HDMI port. Tried to get a repair but after a wrong part was sent, I’m now waiting for an exchange. However, I still don’t have a delivery date. Over 2 months after ordering and multiple frustrating exchanges, I still don’t have a working TV.

Audio sync problem

This tv would be great except it has an issue with Audio and Video syncing. I have a brand new 75” 2022 frame tv. After about 20 minutes, video and sound get out of sync on all my conning apps, e.g, Netflix, hbo max, prime. None of the advice on the web fixes this issue. I am using arc hdmi with Samsung soundbar but issue persists in all modes. Pausing video fixes it for about 20 minutes but it always starts up again
1 reply from Samsung Brand Ambassador team - 5 days ago
Jz1982, We appreciate your feedback on the lip sync issues you’re experiencing with your Frame TV. This could possibly be a source issue, but if you’re hearing an audio delay across all sources/channels and you have a receiver, soundbar, or other speakers connected to your TV, you can access the Audio Delay settings to increase the audio delay. Go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Delay Our 2022 TVs have an audio Pass-Through feature, which allows the audio signal to be sent out unprocessed to an external soundbar or receiver connected to the TV. The external device then processes the audio, thereby eliminating the added step of processing by the TV, which adds delay. On your TV, go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Audio Output Format > Pass-Through Please also be sure you’re running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update. If you’ve tried these steps and your issue persists, please contact us for troubleshooting and a Support agent will gladly assist. You can reach us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Powers itself off after a while. Tried every suggestion (ie Night Mode off, Sleep off, power the unit off and power on). No matter what I do the display shuts itself off after a while and I need to use the remote to power it on.
1 reply from Samsung Brand Ambassador team - 11 days ago
Kaybee, I'm sorry to hear of the confusion regarding the 32" Frame TV specifications. While this model features an Eco Sensor to adapt the screen’s brightness, please know the Night Mode function is available starting with our 43" Frame TV and above. If your Frame TV keeps turning itself off, please check to see if there are any firmware updates available. You can check this by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update. The Eco Sensor automatically adjusts the brightness level of the TV according to the ambient light level. If the Eco Sensor has adjusted the screen’s brightness level, you can select Min. Backlight to manually adjust the minimum screen brightness. You can also disable these features for steady brightness setting. You can adjust Brightness Optimization, Brightness Reduction, Motion Lighting, or Contrast Enhancer by going to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving. You can also take advantage of your TV's Auto Power Off function, which will turn off the TV to reduce unnecessary power consumption if a user input is not detected for a set period of time. To enable this, go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving > Auto Power Off I hope these tips help you enjoy your new product. You can always contact us for further help at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Painfully Slow and Useless Smart Integration

I bought this TV at the beginning of this year and I have been met with disappointment after disappointment. The software is painfully slow and slows down further as you use this TV. In addition to the excruciatingly slow speed of the software, the Alexa smart home integration is faulty making it useless when it comes to voice commands. I really wanted to love this TV. It’s physical aesthetic is beautiful but that’s it. It’s onboard software and buggy home integration make this a buyers remorse case.

Smart Tech User, We appreciate your feedback on the response time, and for optimal performance, we ask that you please ensure you've got the latest firmware version installed on your Frame TV. You can check this by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update. You may also want to further optimize performance with the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care Please know that while voice commands may differ with each voice assistant, you can see more info about usage and settings of Alexa by going to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Voice > Amazon Alexa Settings When the TV is far from you or the ambient noise is too loud, the TV may be unable to recognize your voice. For the best results, you will need to be within 10 feet of your TV. Please look at your TV screen and speak. If you haven’t already, we recommend enabling the Voice Wake-up function as well. Press the microphone button on your remote, then go to Explore Now > Settings > Voice Wake-up. You may also want to try re-pairing your remote to your TV by doing the following: 1) Long press the RETURN key and ENTER key together for about 10 seconds. 2) The RETURN key is on the left side of your remote and looks like a curved, backwards pointing arrow. 3) The ENTER key is the button in the center of your directional ring. If your remote is still not working properly or its response is slow, please check the remaining battery of the Smart Remote by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving > Available Remote Battery. I hope these tips help you enjoy your new product. You can always contact us for further help at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Love Design - Perfect for bedroom

4 out of 5 stars
CharStar - 17 days ago

Overall it seems to be perfect for my space - low profile and blends well in bedroom space. I sound quality is decent and so is the picture quality (from practical stand point). As with mg other Samsung devices when a scene in a movie is really dark - black/brown - the image isn't great. Another issue I notice there appears to be something wrong with the lighting function of the TV because when the screen is completely black there are white lights imbalance that will cause a issue with tv picture down line. May need to replace this device, due to this defect but overall it's what I need and wanted for YEAR.
1 reply from Samsung Brand Ambassador team - 17 days ago
CharStar, We appreciate your feedback on The Frame TV’s picture quality. If the image is too dim, please try disabling some of the TV's energy efficiency functions, as these will automatically adjust your picture and may cause your screen to appear brighter or darker than preferred. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving > turn off Brightness Optimization, Brightness Reduction, and Motion Lighting You may also want to try adjusting image settings to improve your picture. Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode 1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments. 2) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room. 3) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. 4) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching. You can also customize the brightness level of your screen between 0 – 50 to your preference. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings Please also make sure you’ve got the latest firmware version installed on your TV. Happy with the look

4 out of 5 stars
Scojo5 - 23 days ago
originally posted on Samsung US
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I’ve been pretty happy with this tv, mostly because of its look, obviously why someone spends the money to get a Frame. Because of where I put it, I kind of wish I got a smaller size, but it’s okay. It still fits… just in retrospect, I think it would have looked better, smaller; but I wanted to fill the space. I don’t know if it is because of its location or where the sensor is, but mine does not turn the art mode on when we go in the room or turn certain lights on, even on the most sensitive setting. So, that’s disappointing since it kind of defeats the purpose of the tv. I don’t know if the bezel could have something to do with it too. I got the teak bezel, it came after the tv, it was easy to put on and looks great on the tv, it doesn’t fit “perfectly” in the corners. Maybe a 1mm gap, but unless you’re examining it, you can’t see it from any distance away. The apps on the tv work great, no lag and I was able to easily install all the apps I usually would use on my fire stick. Really convenient not to have to use another item to stream. Sound is pretty good, but I probably will still get a sound bar anyway; they are always better than the limited built in speakers. Installation was not bad, I was able to do everything except hang it, myself. The receiver box also works well through a concealed entertainment console. So I don’t have to fully open anything to get it to work, it can just stay neatly closed. So I like it, just wish the art mode worked better for me.
1 reply from Samsung Brand Ambassador team - 23 days ago
Scojo5, We appreciate you sharing your experience with The Frame TV, as well as the issues you're having with the motion sensor not working as expected. Please try a few troubleshooting steps that may help solve the issue: • Make sure nothing in blocking the sensor at the front of the TV. The motion sensor as well as the brightness and color can be affected. • Try cold booting your TV by holding down the power button on your remote for 5+ sec until the TV turns off and on again • Reset Smart Hub: Resets all settings to factory defaults and deletes all information related to Samsung accounts, linked service accounts, Smart Hub service agreements, and applications. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis • Please also check that your TV is running the latest firmware version. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update Some things to consider when using Motion Sensor: • If the surrounding area is too dark or bright, the motion sensor may not work normally. • The performance of the motion sensor may be affected by the installation environment (height, tilt, obstacles). • If the clothes you wear or your skin color is similar to the surrounding shading, the motion sensor may not work properly. • The TV responds to all visual changes around it (lights, displays, dogs, out-of-window changes, and other occurrences). • You can adjust the response level by adjusting the sensitivity of the motion detector. Go to: Home > Left directional button > Art > Art Mode Options > Motion Detector If the issue persists, please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. I bought this to display art on my TV, that's the whole point right? The only way to display your own photos is through the Smart Things app, which doesn't work. I've followed the recommended fix from Samsung with no resolution. I'm not the only one with this problem. If you're thinking about getting this TV you should keep looking. So disappointing
1 reply from Samsung Brand Ambassador team - 1 month ago
Hi Disappointed, We appreciate you sharing your experience with the SmartThings app. If the app is having trouble connecting or discovering your TV, there are a few things you should check: 1. Check for software updates on your phone and the SmartThings app. Please also check to make sure your TV is running the latest firmware version by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update 2. Verify Bluetooth is enabled on your phone. Keep in mind that if your phone is using Power saving mode, it may turn off Bluetooth. Bluetooth is always enabled on your TV, so you do not need to worry about checking in TV settings. 3. Check the device range. Your phone should be within 30 feet of the TV. Also, make sure there are no obstacles, such as walls or electrical equipment, between the devices. 4. Restart both the phone and TV, then launch the SmartThings app on your phone again. 5. Open the SmartThings app. On your phone, navigate to and open the SmartThings app. Tap the Devices tab, then tap Add (the plus sign) in the top right corner. 6. Tap Add device, then tap the By brand tab. Tap Samsung > TV > Start to follow the instructions to complete setup. If your TV’s firmware is up to date with the latest version and you’re still experiencing app issues, you may also want to further optimize performance with the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care In addition to uploading photos via SmartThings, please know you can also upload your personal photos from a phone from an external storage device. Here's how: 1. Connect an external storage device that contains images to the TV. 2. The external device is automatically recognized, and the screen displays a list of image, music, and video files that are stored in the USB memory. You can also go to Menu > Connected Devices and select the external device. 3. Navigate to the folder that contains the image file you want to save to the TV, and then select Options > Send to Art Mode. 4. Select the image and press Send. The image, stored in the external device memory, is saved under Art Mode. If you need more help, Samsung is here for you. Please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. 2022 65" Frame TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great picture, even for fast moving sporting events. The tv protrudes only 1" from the wall - just like a framed picture. The matte screen really makes pictures look like pictures in the Frame mode versus just a tv with an image. The matte screen also eliminates any reflections which helps when watching tv and it make it less conspicuous when the tv is off. This tv eliminates having a big shiny black piece of plastic on your wall!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we were looking for a television for our new home, we knew we wanted something that would last for years, but we especially wanted something that wouldn’t *look* like a massive tv in our new space. The Frame TV has been perfect. Being able to so easily add art or pictures allows me to “redecorate” as often as I want. I can add seasonal art or special photos for any occasion. And it is SO easy to operate, which is a huge plus. The truth is that I was concerned we would spend the money for a premium product like The Frame and regret it. But thankfully, the opposite is true! We get comments about our “art” and how great it looks above the fireplace… and every time, I’m glad we went with The Frame.

This is the first TV in my life (age 55) that I HAD to own. We have been using a wonderful 65" Samsung HD TV that was 11 years old. Thankfully no problems. We are moving to another room and installing it. The wall that it hung on is a very large and open white wall with only speakers surrounding the tv. With The Frame (as its reviewed and described) we now have the most magnificent pieces of art hanging when the tv is off! Not only what seems like unlimited picture options (I suggest the Samsung App for many more picture choices) you can also choose the inside mat color and size for each particular picture. This is the same with any photographs you would like to display. They now become professional looking the way this tv is made and the unique technology. The OLED screen keeps all of the light and glare off from our large glass windows in the same room! We know there are better technologies than QLED, but to have the Art option and ALSO have a gorgeous tv for movies, cable, sports, its well worth it. I think everyone needs The Frame!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new Frame TV. The TV is super thin and mounts flush against the wall. The room we have it in has lots of windows and the anti-glare screen makes it the perfect choice to watch any time of day. My favorite feature is the ability to upload some of our pictures from vacations to use as art work in our room. So glad we chose The Frame.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use it for streaming my movies. It has a very fast upload time and almost always works when I use it 95% of the time.
