We absolutely love our 65” Art TV! It really finishes the room, and is such a great conversation piece! Everyone who sees it loves it. Our daughter now plays three hour long YouTube art to replicate it at her home :). (We’ll be gifting them one neat Christmas)

Remote broke after 15 months. Good when you are using the native smart tv features but sometimes a bit clunky with 3rd party devices (always switches on AppleTV when I start using my PS5). Otherwise good TV.

Lasted for only one year of use. Most of that time was spent in art mode. We really loved this TV and art displays but I’ve never had a TV that quit working properly so quickly, especially at this price point. The right side of the screen has developed a dark shade. I don’t think I would buy or recommend it again as this seems to be a very common problem with these TVs.

Mike, We appreciate your feedback regarding the screen abnormalities you’re seeing on your Frame TV. Please run a Picture Test to determine if the problem is caused by the TV. Picture Test displays a high-definition picture you can examine for flaws or faults. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test You may also want to try resetting your picture settings: Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Reset Picture. If you're still noticing spots after performing the above, your unit may require service. If your TV is out of the 1-year Manufacturer's Warranty, you can locate a service center in your area on Samsung's website. From the landing page, navigate to Support (upper right corner) and select Schedule a Service Appointment. This will allow you to find a location nearest you to help you with your repair. If we can further help with any other issues, please know we are here for you. Just call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. We love the TV; however, after almost exactly one year of use, the screen has a huge dark spot on one side. I’ve tried all the troubleshooting to fix it, but it seems to be a hardware issue. My problem is I bought this TV while we were building a house so it sat in a box for 8 months before I installed it. A year into actually using it and it’s not working properly. This seems to be a big issue for these TVs. We don’t watch that much TV. It spends most of its life on art display. I’m 47 and every TV I’ve ever owned has lasted at least 10 years or more. I have one one the back porch in the elements that’s 8 years old and still kicking no problem. Even if this was still under warranty, what a hassle for a barely used TV. We really loved the TV and get comments on it all the time. Not sure I’d buy/recommend it again especially since this seems to be a common issue with Samsung TVs.

I was sent a tv with very obvious defects and offered a discount 5% to keep it. Or I have to take the entire thing down, including the mount that’s already installed in my wall, repackage it, and return it. Wasn’t offered any other option to make it right.

Overall excellent quality TV. Has fantastic resolution, great clear picture and the batteryless remote is great. Charging under indirect sunlight works great. The buttons need a bit of getting used to but other than that, no problem. There is very little information/instructions that come with the TV other than original setup. If there is a problem it assumes you have online service and can access the electronic manual for reference. Not sure I am on board with this approach but...

The tv is easy to set up and a great picture. We specifically got this to show our photos. As far as showing these pictures there could be some improvements. For example can choose the colour mat if loading one picture but if adding multiples will default to one colour and if want to change that, have to change one photo at a time. Would also be nice if there was a custom setting for rotation time. Find the minimum of 3 minutes a bit long for photos.

Hi there, Thank you for sharing your experience with Wi-Fi connectivity on your Frame TV. This may be caused by a network issue. You might want to go through these steps to check your network connection: 1) Minimize interference by not using or turning off wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. (Wi-Fi strength can be decreased by appliances, cordless phones, stone walls/fireplaces, etc.) 2) If the wireless connection fails, connect the TV to the access point via a LAN cable. If the TV can connect to the Internet normally via the wired connection, there might be a problem with the access point. In this case, try using a different access point. 3) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem. Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test 4) Try a cold reboot of your TV by pressing and holding the power button for 5+ seconds until the TV turns off and on again. 5) Please also be sure you have the latest firmware update. You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience. Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update. If the image you’re seeing isn’t to your liking, there are several picture settings you may want to adjust. Go to Home > left direction button > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode ...and select the mode that best fits your usage: 1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments 2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments 3. Eco: Provided to save energy 4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room 5. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching. You can also fine-tune your picture with expert settings such as brightness, contrast, sharpness and more (All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings). For further assistance with settings adjustments, please contact Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Faulty Remote Control

Very disappointed. I purchased 2 TVs, 1x 55" and 1x 85" in Nov 2022. 15 months later, both remote controls are not functioning. I have attempted all known troubleshooting methods, yet none have been successful in resolving the issue. So frustrating, especially after considering how much I paid for these devices.
1 reply from Samsung Specialist team - 27 days ago
cedricv, I’m sorry to hear your Frame TV’s remote is not working as expected. You may first want to reset your remote by pressing and holding Return and Enter (the center of the navigation pad) for more than 10 seconds. After performing the reset, you'll need to pair the remote to the TV again. To pair, stand within 1 foot of your TV, and press the Return and Play/Pause buttons simultaneously for at least 5 seconds or until a message appears on your TV indicating that the remote is now connected. If the remote is still not working: 1. Unplug the TV for 30 seconds, and plug it back in. 2. Try moving closer to the TV and re-pairing. 3. Check to see if your remote is charged. You can check remaining battery by going to: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving > Available Remote Battery. 4. Check for available firmware updates on your TV. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now I hope the above helps. Should the issue persist, please contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Our LiveChat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website. ~ Samsung Specialist

I like the look, as it blends in with my room decor. It’s a good tv for everyday use, and has nice resolution. If I have to watch a movie I would watch on a bigger screen, which we have. It’s mildly expensive even on sale and for the size of the 43”, but I was determined to get one.

This is a terrible tv. I can't get it to connect via LAN. It keeps disconnecting and connecting. It also keeps disconnecting and connecting my sound bar. I have also tried to pair other remotes and controllers on this tv. Some work and some do not. Additionally, I am now having issues with the remote. I have spoken to Samsung support and their only remedy to is to order a new remote for an additional fee via Samsung Parts. I am highly disappointed with this tv and very much regret buying it.
1 reply from Samsung Specialist team - 1 month ago
ATrain, Thank you for sharing your experience. If your Frame TV has difficulties connecting to the internet, please try the following troubleshooting steps: 1) Check the network and the status of your access point. 2) On the remote control, press the button and move to Settings using the directional button. 3) Select Menu > Settings > All Settings > Connection > Network > Network Status to check the network status. 4) If the network isn't connected, a network reset may be required. 5) Make sure that your access point is working properly. Check the LED indicators on your access point to make sure it is operating normally. 6) If you are using a wireless access point, check the access point location. If the access point is too far from the TV, move it closer. 7) Try rebooting the access point by disconnecting and reconnecting the power connector. It may take 1 to 2 minutes until the access point comes back online after a reboot. 8) If the same problem continues, select Menu > Settings > All Settings > Connection > Network > Network Status > IP Settings to change to a different DNS server. If a test occurs, cancel it and select IP Settings. 9) Select DNS Setting Enter manually. 10) Select DNS Server, enter 8.8.8.8, then select OK. 11) If the same problem continues, a software update or factory reset may be required. For optimal performance, please also make sure that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update. Should you need further help, please call Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Excellent TV, Except When it Crashes

3 out of 5 stars
RLTiv - 1 month ago
originally posted on Samsung US
We've had the 43" Frame TV for ten months now, and on the whole it's excellent. Good picture quality, the Atmos sound works great, there are a sufficient number of inputs for us to use all our devices (that was a big issue in selecting this set), and we love the art feature when the TV sleeps. This is all terrific. But... None of it matters if the TV won't work. And lately, an intermittent problem has become a daily problem. It manifests in random ways: one day there's picture but no sound; the next day there's sound but no picture; the day after that, there's neither picture nor sound. We often--but not always--get an error message telling us there's an HDMI issue, even though I upgraded all of our HDMI cables with highly-rated cables just last year. They're the same cables that work fine most of the time, until suddenly the error message pops up again. In almost every instance, unplugging and replugging the black box that runs the Frame TV clears the problem. So although there are always multiple possibilities when trying to diagnose issues like these in a system with many devices, particularly when the problems manifest in such different ways, the fact that I start with the Frame TV box--and that that almost always makes the problem go away--makes it pretty clear where the issue is. And for a TV that's less than a year old, this really isn't acceptable. It's a pain when you have to do a hard reboot every single day, and I have to say I'm being generous in only deducting two stars for this. Thanks for reading.

Good TV

Good TV - 1 month ago

This is a good TV but doesn't stand out as being anything extraordinary. I thought the picture would be outstanding but quite frankly, I don't see it as being any better than the 15 year-old Sharp Aquos that it replaced. My biggest beef with this new Samsung is it doesn't recognize our TV provider and it just shows up on the apps as "HDMI 1" and we have to use the old remote to control the TV when we're watching regular channels. Bell Fibe TV is one of the most popular TV Providers and it's a major shortfall not to even recognize it. Another beef is that not enough pictures are provided for the frame art. We get a few basic samples and then you want to nickel and dime us for more. Come on folks, with what we paid for this, you can't give us more pictures??!! Speaking of art mode, getting onto that setting could be easier. You have to hit the power button just right to activate it, sometimes you have to try several times before you get it. Why isn't there an "Art Mode" button on the remote. Did you not test this with actual users? While I've clicked the "Yes" button below to recommend to a friend, it would just be along with some others. I rate it as good, but just average good. It's not outstanding at anything, and has some shortfalls as noted above It's rather shabby that below, you make us acknowledge we've read and accept the conditions for your "Enter to Win a Prize" contest that expired nearly 5 months ago.

Excellent when it works. However, our Frame randomly switches from Art Mode to TV mode on its own. We have come home a number of times to find one of the Samsung TV stations playing. I have updated the software, tried changing various settings but nothing seems to work. If one searches online for help with this problem, one finds many people have experienced the same problem. I can't find anything in the Samsung online support that recognizes this problem.
