Q: I really want my hair to become curly but I don’t like the way my hair looks with the results of a curling iron. I’m Asian and my hair is 2a/b and I was wondering if this could give me natural curls?

A: This will give you similar results as using a thick conditioner as a styling product - it won't give you curls you don't already have. In my experience, it is "enhancing" in that it doesn't weigh your curls down like a gel might, but lets them develop into their natural state while providing moisture and a light hold. If you haven't already, check out some YouTube videos specifically for your hair type to get ideas on different styling methods that would help you achieve the look you want.

I love using this to scrunch my hair. I also use it when I loosen my curls after using a curling wand. It holds my curls for such a longer period of time and never gets that crunchy feel. It also helps with smoothing my wild hair.

I use this curl cream when my hair is wet and it leaves a pretty effective curl by morning when my hair dries and I take it out of my braids. It does make my hair a tad bit oily, though. That would be the only downfall of this product.

Barely works with this latest formula change. Extremely disappointed. This was my most favorite product & perfect for my kinky, curly & frizzy hair. However since the company was bought out, they've progressively been changing the formula & replacing the good ingredients with toxic ones. This defeats the purpose for many of us who purposely want to use/consume as little toxins as possible. Especially for those of us either sensitive or with health issues. Unfortunately they're doing this with all of their products so I can't even use something else in this line. For those that can afford them, My Honey Child Olive You Deep Conditioner & Type 4 Hair Creme were what I was previously using as a leave-in & may go back to. You can find decent deals on occasion through various online retailers. Darcy's Botanicals Avocado & Honey Twisting Cream was another one that is pretty good.

Giving this 3 stars because it moisturizes the HECK out of my hair which I love! But it didn’t really define my curls like I wanted it to. I have low porosity by the wet so I woke up and hair was still kind of wet and this product is heavier so yeah. Gels make my hair defined but dry and crunchy. Maybe I need to layer them? Idk. might keep or return and try again later with one of their gels/milks.

Love love LOVE! I picked up this product after seeing that it was highly recommended amongst many beauty stores, and I do not regret my purchase. I wanted to get a handle on my curly/wavy hair routine (types 2A, 2B, and 2C), and this was absolutely perfect for it. The first time I used it, it made my curls so shiny and took down the frizz by a ton! Literally followed the instructions on the package. 5 minutes on wet hair, wide tooth comb to distribute, and rinse. Amazing.

I have hair that can be super voluminous but the individual hairs are fine, which means any product that is too heavy weighs my hair down. Just a tiny bit of this product is enough to smooth my hair without weighing it down. People always ask me what product I use and I always tell them to try this. Everyone's curls are different, but for me, this was my holy grail after years of crunchy hair if I wanted curls but most of the time I straightened my hair. For the last 3 years, though, since finding this product, I have only straightened my hair a few times.
