I'm a root beer aficionado and this is probably one is the worst rootbeers I've had. It tastes really artistical. It's so bad that I will probably throw the bottle down the drain. If I'm going to damage my body with sugar and food coloring, it should at least be worth the shorter life span

Wish I’d read the reviews mentioning Sucralose before purchasing. Not a reasonable ingredient for my family. Does taste good- didn’t notice the aftertaste- but did suffer a soda volcano cleanup.

For those that like root beer, this is great. It pairs very well with the Torani Vanilla Bean syrup and it makes a "root beer float" flavored soda. This root beer syrup is also thankfully easy to find in stores.

Yea I knew there was fake sugar going in, but I didn’t expect the after taste to be so terrible. I drink crystal light and other stuff and it’s not an issue so I’m not sure why these are so terrible to me but I can’t do it. Upon smell and first taste this is so perfectly root beer and is incredible! My daughters friend loved it too and she adores root beer.

They changed their recipe and replaced half the sugar with sucralose (Splenda). It leaves a terrible chemical aftertaste. If I wanted diet soda I would have bought the diet version. Absolutely undrinkable.

SodaStream keeps messing with the ingredients and now hides “fructose” near the end. The after taste is awful! Why would I choose to buy a soda with sugar that tasted worse than diet?

This root beer is pretty good, but both the flavor and the packaging need work. The flavor is great when drinking - it tastes like real root beer. However, there's definitely a weird aftertaste that I don't like. My biggest issue is with the packaging. I had this sitting on my counter for a couple days before I opened it, and I realized after a bit that it was leaking from the top and had left a sticky mess all over my counter and the bottle. Again, it was unopened at this point. When I did open it (which was more difficult than I think it should be - it says you just have to twist to open, but I think that would require superhuman strength), the cap was covered in the syrup and super messy. The packaging definitely needs work and I wish they would fix the aftertaste issue as well.
