I got this as a present from my sister and when drying it after hand washing it the second time I used it, the top fell off and broke into pieces. It is just glued on there and the glue does not appear to stick well to whatever material the base is made from. I would not recommend this to anyone.

I’ve had this about 7 months, used it maybe a dozen times, handwashed it every time, and the bottom of the cake stand just fell apart. There are 2 pieces to the bottom and I guess they’re basically hot glued together. Junk.
