Q: What's the dimension from one shelf to the next. Are they at least a little over 8 inches? I have DVD box sets that measure a little 0ver 8 inches. I just want to have enough room.

A: Hello Erik, Each of these fixed shelves measure approximately 11.63"W x 5.75"D x 5.875"H. Please keep in mind that theses shelves are adjustable. The shelf is sturdy and looks nice but it doesn't hold blu ray disc or video games in the quantity of the description. My guess would be 70 bluray discs, far short of the description.

I like it now that I have it assembled but one of the areas where I had to screw a one of the screws through wasn't big enough for the screw and I had to hit the screwdriver through it to make the hole a little bigger. Also the screw was screwed in at a small angle and when I put the next level on boards on top of it I couldn't screw the cam lock in and the lock broke. I then had to go out and buy a new cam lock. It would have also been nice had the instructions mentioned to make sure all the finished sides are pointing the same direction. I didn't realize that until I was completely done so might have to use some spray paint to finish the two parts that are backwards.

Fantastic shelving unit! I’m guessing all the bad reviews are from dudes who do t know how to use tools or know proper basics in assembly.

I couldn’t even finish building it before the cheap garbage snapped in half. I turned it over to sink the backing nails in and the entire shelving unit snapped in half. Worthless plywood garbage.

If you have DVD case sized items to store this is perfect. It went together easily, is sturdy enough for my needs (is media storage shelving) and I’ve outgrown it so buying a second.

Packaging is annoying, expect your floor to be covered in packing debris. Parts are not labeled and to not fit together. Item is very unstable and I had to nail some boards to the base to keep it from tipping over. Extremely poor quality, do not buy!

assembly was easy enough, but one of my cam bolts snapped and broke when i turned it. luckily I had extras from another piece of furniture and that one worked perfectly. the backerboard was impossible to keep lined up and I ended up having to assemble and disassemble it like 5 times. Compared to the other furniture ive bought recently, this is cheap crap. but it will do for now.

This is a classic, get what you pay for. It's ok. After assembly, it probably would have been easier for me to mill and build one myself, which is what I'll do the next time. It serves it's purpose.

The product description states the depth at 8". When received, the actual depth of each shelf is 5 1/2". The base (bottom shelf) is 8" to give the shelf stability, but all the upper shelves are the 5 1/2". Shelf still is fairly unsteady, would require being anchored to the wall also.

I received with a few nics on one of the boards and when I put together would not stay attached. When we attempted to tighten the bolt that was supposed to secure it broke. Now we are still using but it is not very secure to use
