A:Â Hello Chris, the 7850 CHECKLITE DUFFEL is made with more durable polyester; 720D dobby poly & 400D dobby poly. This 7895 ZURICH DUFFEL is made with 400D x 350D Polyester. The CHECKLITE's front pouch is also large enough to accommodate a laptop.

However, after owning the Swiss Gear bag for over a year now and after numerous trips to the casino, I am very impressed with the quality of this product. The construction of this bag is very good and it is designed to take a beating. It is relatively heavy by itself but is a snap to roll. Any Swiss Gear product is high quality in my book. Plenty of space as well.

This bag contains a frame on the bottom to support the wheels and telescoping handle so it cannot fold down smaller than its length. The sides, however, can be folded down to allow for more storage options when not in use.

My husband had this for years and I didn't like how basic it looked. I've now gone through so many of my own bags and his is still around. I've given in and started using this one. Now we fight over who gets to use it when we travel. It's very durable and have consistently used it as checked luggage. It lasts a lifetime!

I have two of these bags, one for my husband and one for me. Because these bags have performed so well for us, I’ve also bought two more for family members who needed a carry on bag for travel. I’ve flown in every major and minor airlines including Southwest, Spirit, Frontier, and Easy Jet abroad; and this bag has never been a problem in terms of fitting in the over head bin space. Of course, Frontier, Spirit, and Easy jet will charge you for your carry on regardless. Otherwise, I’ve never had to pay yet. This bag will hold 8 days of clothes plus toiletries easily. You won’t be disappointed. BTW…. Please don’t ever discontinue this bag Swiss Gear!

Bought this today for a short flight. Didn’t fit in luggage bins or under seat at all. Didn’t he up to one flight. Has frays, tears, plastic shredding. I paid over a $100 for the bag so I thought it would be decent. Didn’t make one trip.

I’ve had to replace this bag three different times. The only reason I’ve stuck with this specific bag is because the size and design fits best for the work I do. The first bag I bought, about 5 years ago now, had the best quality. Each bag since then has decreased in quality. The saving grace is the 10 year warranty. Pros: -Size: So far, even with it completely full, it’ll still work as a carry-on for the airlines. This has been the only carry-on with 48L of interior space that I’ve found. That, along with all the different pockets, makes it extremely useful. -Construction: Aside from a few key areas, the construction is good. The pull handle has endured a fair amount of heavy use, and the material itself seems fairly durable. Cons: -The end it sits on when you stand it up doesn’t have a proper scuff pad or bar to protect the fabric. It only has the two small plastic pieces, which offer zero protection. After a few trips, the fabric begins to tear on that end pocket. -On the bottom, between the wheels, there’s a narrow plastic piece that can get caught on the front edge of airport bus steps and tear off (because it’s too short). This has happened twice. It’s easy enough to super-glue back on…but it’s still a poor design. -The wheels: The wheelbase, as mentioned in other reviews, is too narrow. The quality of the wheels themselves is especially poor. In my previous bag, the wheel bearings were trashed after only a year. With the current bag (which I’ve had only 2 months…and it’s been on only 2 trips so far), the wheel tread has already cracked and has a chunk missing out of it. The bearings are also already showing wear. It wouldn’t be that big of a deal if I could replace them myself with a better quality wheel, but the design doesn’t allow you to replace them with any sort of ease. If these design/quality issues were fixed, it really would be a stellar bag. But unfortunately, in it’s current condition, it falls short.

This is an amazing bag that hold a lot more than you’d initially think. I can easily pack a week’s worth of clothing in it. It’s the perfect one to be used as a carry on. This bag is so good that a friend borrowed the first one I purchased and was using it so frequently that I purchased another for me. Kind of hard for them to borrow my bag when we’re traveling together. The only think I wish it has was four wheels instead of only two.

I have the old grey version of this bag that has worn out and was looking for a new version to replace it. The old version had the more rigid edges and front pocket to keep clean and dirty clothes separated thru the trip that the new one does not have. This is a great bag, but it’s missing a few minor details as a replacement for the old model.
