Have three of these TVS, love, but this one has gone dead after 3 months. Customer service was great to talk to today but with the covid19 virus a tech will need to come to the home and who knows when that may be

Junk! Do not buy!

Like everyone else seems to be saying, this thing's backlight just stopped working after about 13 months. I have a very similar TV by LG that I got 3 1/2 years ago for a great deal, and that works perfectly still. Almost like you would expect a TV to do... I will not be buying another TCL product.

Never Again

We also had our TCL television go black after only 15 months. We did contact the company via email and they answered with instructions which we followed to no avail. We did not purchase an extended warranty so I guess we are out of luck. We will never buy this brand of television again.

Horrible

If i could give this 0 stars I would. 1st one ran out 11 months after I got it. Screen just went black and they replaced it. An exact year after it was replaced, the replacement tv screen went black and noticed the tv would turn itself on within 15 minutes of turning it off. Called customer support and they said nothing they can do. If you need a tv for a year and have 300 to blow than this is your tv. TCL will never be purchased by me again.

Screen went out just after warranty

Screen went out offer 14 months. I’m done with cheap TVs. We also bought the 65” 6 months ago so I guess I should plan to replace it too.

Buyer beware!

For the 14 months the TV worked, it was fantastic. This past weekend, the picture went out on it. Luckily I bought the SquareTrade warranty. They're reimbursing me almost the entire purchase price. I bought another brand TV to replace this one.

DO NOT BUY THIS TV. This was purchased 1 year 4 months ago. Will no longer turn on. I am very disappointed. I would expect a TV to last much longer than 1 year and 4 months. Did troubleshooting with TCL, they told me I am out of luck because the warranty just expired.

Black screen after 3 years

This TV only lasted a little over 3 years. I would expect TVs to last a lot longer than that. Very disappointed. After 3 years the left side keeps turning black..too expensive to fix so now I have to but a new one. Will not buy TCL anymore.
