I like the texture of the rug and the clean look of the white. Although some of the reviews mention it did not hold up in the wash, mine has been washed and tumble dried at least 5 times and it looks fine (pictures are 11 months after purchase) I will say it does shed but it’s easy enough to clear out the lint trap afterwards. It is a thick rug so I let it air dry out in the sun after tumble drying as well.

Followed washing instructions after a contractor with muddy feet dirtied it. It fell apart and I had to dig pieces of it out of the washing machine. It is so cute and soft and textured but not practical with use.

This rug is very cute and I was excited when I first got it. But then I had a guest step on it with dirty shoes and even after multiple washes, flecks of dirt are still embedded everywhere in the shag. It seems like washing it only made it worse because it matted the shag and trapped all the dirt in. If I wanted to remove the dirt I would have to individually pull apart the shag pieces and pull each fleck out by hand. I second other reviews as well that it doesn't hold up well in the wash either.

This rug has completely fallen apart over the course of a few washes. Not sure what I could have done differently, but the material has fallen apart, leaving the rug unrecognizable. Very poor quality, which is a shame because it's super cute when new, but absolutely not worth it.

I am obsessed with Opalhouse designs & I needed something fancy for my tiny bathroom. The color & design is gorgeous & the texture is super soft. It was a little smaller than what I imagined (since I ordered it online) but when you have the world's smallest bathroom it fits perfectly! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I really wish it had a grippy bottom. It is very slippery on a tile floor & getting out of the shower is a little scary at times. Of course I ordered a separate no slip mat to go underneath but I just wish it had it built in since it is meant for a bathroom floor. But overall love this product!

Love the look of this rug however it shreds in the washing machine. The first time I washed it I assumed the shedding was typical for a new rug - the second time I washed it, the machine looked like I had thrown a box of tissues into the wash with everything. Total disaster - waste of money! If you have no intention of needing to wash the rug, the look is very pretty but be warned if it goes into the washing machine. I also have an aqua version of an Opalhouse rug without the shredding problem so, in my opinion, it's a quality issue with this rug.

It was very pretty when it was new. Had it for about two months and needed to clean it using washer and dryer. Followed the instructions but it does not look the same at all. Do not recommend as you cannot wash this.
