About the Author



Valen Hart decided to write The Girl with the Green shoes based on her life experience. Growing up with 4 siblings new shoes were not something that came often .At the age of 5 she needed a special pair to help her legs grow straight and strong. Willow wasn't fond of them at first. Ever kid wants to fit in and children aren't always used to being different.
It turned out she ended up walking the runway in some of the most beautiful shoes ever made. She is grateful for the green shoes to this day. It goes to show you if you believe in you light even when it feels the dimmest eventually it shines through.
