Hi, i have purchased 4 timers in the last few months. All of them have there pros and cons. This one is the best. Pros 1. While other timers beep for every minute you set, 5 minutes, 5 beeps. This timer quietly lets you set the time and only beeps when the time has run out. 2. To set the timer you simply twist the outer frame until you get the desired time. It's sleek and there is no wondering if it's set for the correct time or wondering if the timer has started. 3. My kids can not only see how many minutes are left, they can see the percentage of time left on the face of the clock. 4. It has a magnet so that you can stick it to near by metal surfaces like the fridge, which is convenient. Cons 1. The only con so far is that it's too easy for a child to open the battery compartment. Usually kid safe products have a screw giving the battery section an added layer of safety. Would highy recommend this to families out of the toddler stage.
