My son's an avid DDR player, and he loves this cool, tiny machine. It's fun for a little thing.
Perfect Nendoroid scale prop

Is this going to keep you gaming for more than a few minutes - no. But it’s not meant to. It’s meant to be a fun, functional scaled prop of a DDR arcade machine. It looks amazing with Nendoroids or Nendoroid doll sized figures. I love it - I want to get another to customize it to my favorite version of arcade DDR.
Pretty awesome for what it is

I saw a ton of bad reviews here, so I had to throw in my two cents The timing actually pretty responsive. Maybe not perfect, but waaaaayyy better than Super Smash Brothers Ultimate Online play It's super cute and really functional as well. The UI is a little confusing, but once you get used to it, then it works just fine C'mon everyone. It's a tiny functional DDR machine. This is a pretty epic product.

I guess I never looked at this thing and thought it had any entertainment value as a game. It is, however, a very cute decoration for my game room that has the added benefit of being surprisingly functional. The buttons light up, there's multiple difficulties, high scores, and it has 3 DDR classics. If you buy it like its a handheld game than yeah you're gonna be disappointed, but if you're a DDR fan that has a shelf of game/nerd decorations then this thing is super cool.
Doesn't play too well.

Machine looks decent, screen and speakers are good enough. The arrow buttons aren't very sensitive. I get a ton of missed arrows, especially if I don't press right in the center of the button. The buttons light up on a successful hit, which is a nice effect. The three songs are "KEEP ON MOVIN'", "MAKE IT BETTER", and "PARANOiA", three longtime DDR standards. I like the songs, though it's odd that the machine features a "Dance Dance Revolution X" logo below the main logo, when these three songs are far older than DDR X. Another oddity: The instructions tell you how to hold freeze arrows, even though none of the three songs contain any freeze arrows. The game allows you to choose from the songs' Basic, Another, and Maniac step charts, though it actually uses their Beginner, Basic, and Another charts -- Maniac is missing, though you'd have a hard time scoring well on the Maniac charts, given the lack of responsiveness in the arrow buttons. The arrows are synced fairly well to the music on KEEP ON MOVIN' and PARANOiA, though the timing on MAKE IT BETTER is pretty late. For both of PARANOiA's harder charts, the arrows appear about a quarter note off, so the song ends before the arrows do. Additionally, the songs seem to have a standardized scroll speed. This is fine for the two slower songs, but on the fastest song, PARANOiA, this causes the arrows to appear very close together at times. Lastly, the machine erases your high scores every time you turn it off, so there isn't any incentive to come back and try to improve. Overall: Decent presentation, poor gameplay, and in need of more polish.
Only a decoration.

Get this STRICTLY as a decoration if you or a friend are a big DDR fan. If you want to actually play DDR with your fingers, just get StepMania.
A little disappointed

Only 3 songs, speakers are terrible, buttons are clicky (almost louder than the music). The keys light up when matched, which is neat, but it's hard to match, as you have to almost press before hand to make it work. It could have been so much better, now just a dust collector. A missed opportunity that they could have done an expansion pack for more songs, and focused more on the quality (touch response arrows, better sound card, a memory slot to sell additional songs, etc).
For the DDR fans

The tiny arcade machine is very cute. The game works perfectly fine for what it is and it makes for a great decoration piece as well. Well worth the purchase!

As a person who is in love with rhythm games, the moment I saw this I knew I had to have it. I'd been told beforehand that it's very crappy and not much value but still a cute desktop novelty. It arrived and after going through all 5 minutes of gameplay I can confirm that it's not very good. The buttons are clicky and really hard to press, which is not at all good for a rhythm game. The speakers aren't very high-quality either but what would you expect in a tiny machine like this. On top of that, there's only 3 songs and yes, playing through them all takes only 5 minutes. And the actual gameplay sucks as well. Is it a good DDR game? God no. Is it still a cute desktop toy? Yes it is, but it's not good for anything else unfortunately. Only get this if you really, REALLY want a semi-functional DDR dance pad to look at on your desk, but don't go spending $20 on this expecting it to be the next best DDR game, because in my opinion, it's the next worse.
