The directions need to be a clearer. I tried this the first few times by spraying directly into my hair and that left my hair sticky and dry. Next time I spray into my hands and watched as the texture change when I rubbed into my palms a bit before working through my 4B hair, low porosity hair. Much better results. Softer silky curls were my final result.

This product made my scalp tingling a burning a bit, I understand it’s the peppermint in it but I use other peppermint products without this unpleasant feeling. Also, I agree with whom said that it smells like cough candy. The feeling on my hair was a crunchy one, this may work for some, but I prefer a more natural look for my hair, not so crunchy and “sculpted”. This didn’t work for me.

I’m not sure where all the “good” reviews came from. I’m very disappointed. I wanted to give Taraji a try. It has made my hair very try and after blow dry, it’s a bit sticky. The smell doesn’t bother me, but if you don’t like mentholated smells, don’t bother. I do like the cool feeling on my scalp. Maybe I needed the entire system. I was just looking for a detangler that works for my hair (very thick and coily, natural hair, tons of shrinkage, high porosity) and my baby’s hair (thick, coily, low porosity) it even dried her hair out. The product also takes a while to seep into the hair. It doesn’t have as much slip as it says, it’s more creamy. I’ve tried this now a 3rd time, same bottle, but it’s a no. Sad to say, this one isn’t for us!

Honestly, not too sure on how well this product could even work. I spayed a little on my hair last night and could not get over the pungent smell. I left it in, as I read the smell lessened after a few minutes. However. I woke up at 4am with a migrate and it still smelled just as strong. I will not be buying again, or using at all’. I recommend, for sure, smelling before buying to make sure you are OK with the aroma.

This stuff is pretty darn awesome, my kids all get the worst knots ever, 3 out of 4 of them have curly hair so I have tried tons of different products over the years & sometimes I like a product enough to buy it again but none of them have ever out done them all by a mile. Don’t let the amount of Oz scare you, it lasts just as long as other products cuz you don’t have to use as much. Right after I bought this I was gifted perfect 10 spray, that stuff is expensive & I heard good things about it, but that spray has nothing on this one. Plus this product is not expensive Hallelujah! It only took me 15 years to find a great detangler/leave in conditioner Lol btw I am not part of any product review sites.

It detangled my daughters hair faster than any other product! It normally takes me at least 15 minutes just to get a simple style done on my 4 year old and we literally were in a hurry when I first tried it! We were done in like 6 minutes for the style I was doing but the detangling was INSTANT and she didn’t even cry!! THANK YOU TARAJI!!! This product was a lifesaver the other day! I went back to Target and bought the Make it Rain Conditioner too. About to try it now. But the Ride or Die detangler worked like a charm and smelled amazing. Has Biotin in it too which is exciting. I love products like that.

This isn’t meant for all hair types like the bottle says… It did the total opposite for my hair. Sprayed it onto damp hair and my hair took longer than normal to dry. My hair was left feeling sticky and gritty as if I just rolled thru dirt. I have really long hair so my ends need more attention and this did nothing but make my ends crunchier than normal. I have A LOT of fine, wavy/curly hair and I don’t recommend this product.
