Q: why is it that when i connect them to my phone while listening to music i hear static and a sort of buzzing sound but when i connect them to my laptop i hear everything clearly and how do i stop this noise

If a reset does not fix the problem, lightly press and hold down the touchpads of the earbuds (where the microphone hole is) while they are sitting in the case.   • A: Hello! To pair the earbuds to your device, open the case and remove both earbuds. The earbuds will start to flash red and white, which means they are ready to pair. Then, use the Bluetooth settings on your device to pair with Heyday Earbud 05. When the earbuds have paired, they will turn white for five seconds and then fade. If you need to reenter pairing mode, put both earbuds back into the case. Leave the lid on the charging case open and hold the reset button on the back for 3 seconds. Then start at step 1 again.

Pairing the first time somehow messed things up; I was able to connect for a couple seconds, but after that, could only even see the device listed on my Android occasionally. I followed the advice in the manual: if they are not working, put them in the case with the case open, pressing the button on both, for 10 seconds. I also deleted the entry from my devices list to be safe, and made sure to give it access to contacts etc instead of only audio. Not sure which of these things made it work, but I am not going to risk it by testing it out! One issue they have even when connected is that if you try to adjust them at all physically in your ears, they are liable to just turn off or register it as a button press. Otherwise fine so far.

Terrible! Hard to pair, don’t stay paired. I’ve had them 1.5 years and seems like every few times I use them I have to repair which is an utter pain in the rear and then the quality of sound is not the best and don’t sound great on the other end for talking.

I got these on clearance for $15 maybe four or five years ago and I’ve dropped them from tall heights and into water so many times, sanitized and cleaned them and they still worked. I only have to charge the case for a couple hours and it stays charged for a week but the right headphone, the one with the microphone just stopped working I’m so sad they don’t have the green ones atm :.0

I wrote a review previously regarding these earbuds, but I do not see it listed. So I am writing one again. Because these things just do not work. I have let the battery drain completly. The right earbud was working but now its not. The left earbud wasn't working but now it works. I would not reccomend these earbuds to anyone. Worked for about 3 weeks then nothing. I really want a refund so I can go purchase the Apple earbuds. Waste of money for sure.

hangs up every time I adjust them

There's no extra app for these pods and you cannot disable or change the touch controls. Whenever you place a call, even touching the bar gently to adjust them (because they don't quite sit right like my airpods do) will disconnect the call the second you let go. It's so awful. I've hung up on people by accident a dozen times and there's no way to change it or turn it off, so I'll be returning them. I will say they work great with Windows PC, but I wouldn't get them for calls.

Great for the money

For the price. I think they are fantastic. Comfortable to wear. Stay in my ears ( I haven't tried them during exercise) The biggest plus for me is the long battery life. After losing my pair of Apple Airpods that I use at work, I was not spending another 250.00. I thought, if I am gonna lose them they should be inexpensive. I get about double the battery and play life than I do my Airpods( I have some for home use) The heyday just keep going. Sound quaility if fine. Not fantastic, noise reduction is about average, they don't "suck" into your ears like Airpods but they are not 250.00 They are a bit touchy for volume and such but well worth the money. I am buying for gifts.

Average earbuds with some pretty big flaws.

Bought these for general use (music and podcasts during exercising and chores). They stay in during use, the sound was decent enough. There were no big complaints in the beginning. However, these are not suited for taking calls. Every person I spoke to while using these always heard an echo when I used the earbuds during a call. Unpair or turn off and the echo would go away. This wasn't a big deal since I'm not on the phone a lot, but an annoyance all the same. The biggest issue I've had with them after about 6 months of usage is that the right earbud out of nowhere went EXTREMELY quiet while the left just blared by comparison. I have to manually adjust my sound balance on my phone when I plan to use the earbuds every time (and manually turn it back). Planning on getting a replacement soon and going to another product. Definitely don't recommend these.

Uncomfortable, end calls too easy

I have had these for about a month. The fit is odd, they do come with additional ear pieces, but that didn't help much. They feel like the are in the ear, then while talking, they will start to fall out. They are very sensitive to touch, if you want to adjust them while on a call, you have to hold them, otherwise it just ends the call. I have found that I can adjust them about 20% of the time without it just ending the call. Overall, I would not suggest these earbuds. I also have apple air pods, for $50 more, just get them. You can at least adjust them in your ear without it ending the call!

Pairing problems

Pros: comfortable, good audio balance, long battery life, and good call quality. Cons: Not to bury the lead, one of these earbuds stopped pairing on me 2 days after I bought it. No problem, must be defective. I return it to Target and get a second pair of the same make in gray. Same thing happens later that week. Also the touch sensors are really touchy, and would pause live streams or music just from adjusting the earbud. If it likes your phone enough to have both earbuds stay paired, they're pretty good. Otherwise? Get something else. It seems there's a reason why this was still on the shelf in person when the other brands were sold out

I can't believe the poor reviews of these headphones. I paid twice as much for a pair of new sony headphones which are terrible in comparison (Poor range, poor sounds quality, confusing controls). These have triple the range of other wireless earbuds. They are durable. The same pair has been working great with daily use for two years now. The batteries last all day.

The sound and fit is great. Honestly the pair would be perfect but only faster one month the left earbud stopped connecting/working. This seems to be a common issue with this brand which is a shame because they were great otherwise.

The sound is great. However, I’m constantly having one of them fall out and I even use the smallest ear bud. I’ve never had this problem with any other and I can’t risk losing one earbud. So for me…I’m taking it back

Case won't charge. Waste of money. Tried all sorts of different cords and no luck. Bummer because they for my small ears well and sound quality was fine. If you can't charge them then they are basically a paperweight.

I love love love these earbuds! They lasted me 2+ years and going! Volumes great and they charge fully in under an hour lasting for like 4-5 days. Great product definitely recommend!

Air "duds"

This product should not have made it through quality control. There is absolutely no volume control feature so you have to manually control the volume by accessing whatever device you are synced to. Which of course makes the whole Bluetooth feature pointless. As far as the features that are available, they are glitchy at best. Pausing and playing is delayed and sometimes seems to lose pairing. I don’t understand how these are on the shelf and for the price they are asking.

Hello, please follow these troubleshooting steps to reset your earbuds. Please hold the power button for an extended period of time (about 10 second) to perform a reset. Placing earbuds into the charging case and then removing them from the case can also serve as a sort of “soft” reset. One final method for “resetting” earbuds is to drain the battery fully to zero, then re-charge and turn them back on. If the steps don’t resolve the issue, you may consider the possibility of water damage because our product does not offer the waterproof feature. If your earbuds get wet, you should dry them as much as possible, as quickly as possible, with a towel or napkin. And if you use your earbuds during a workout, remember to dry the sweat from the earbuds after each use. If you had followed the troubleshooting steps, and the water damage possibility isn’t applied to you; you’re likely to have defective product. Please bring your product back to Target for a refund or exchange. We apologize for the inconvenience and are happy to help!
