I've had this headset for about 5 years now and it's just now starting to fail me. Used for thousands upon thousands of hours in many different games, including games where sound quality is important. I took great care of this headset, for the most part (it was thrown only a few times but nothing ever broke). What's finally starting to give is only the wire connection at the controller side. It seems to have dried up and split, but it still works (for now). There is no mic echo, the mute function works fine, and the volume control works fine. I definitely got my money's worth out of this headset, and I'm thinking about getting the same one again once this one finally gives out completely. I'd recommend this to anyone that casually games or to someone looking for a nice quality budget headset. If you take care of this headset,as most people don't, it will last you as long as it did for me. Thanks.

Week One And Already The Cord Is Messing Up. Every Time I Move It Creates A Static Sound And Interfears With The Game. Ive Handled Them Very Carefully But The Quality For These Headsets Are Terribble And Cheaply Made. Not Worth $40 At All I Expected Better But This Brand Doesnt Care About How Cheap Their Products Are. Im Really Sad If It Wernt For That Part These Headphones Would Be Amazing

It works. I’ve only had it a week and I’m not too impressed. Sound quality is poor. Mic quality is poor. I’ve definitely seen better ones out there. Next time I’ll splurge and get a higher quality one.

Ok, so my headset broke the week i got it, the audio stills works, sounds very cheap, feels cheap and the mic broke in the first week. I have just purchased a HyperX headset and it works great and I recommend it!

Horrible item!!! Bought this for my sons birthday and it worked well for a few days then there was no sound from one of the ear muffs. We exchanged it thinking maybe it was defective but the 2nd one already broke. The war part snapped off. Not good quality at all especially for the price. The 2nd one last him about 5 months. Don’t waste your money.

so I bought this twice the first time it broke in like3 months but it was my fault. The second one I still use but will sadly retire soon because i bought a new headset, but this one lasted me almost a year and the sound is ok and the mic works great. I was using this on Xbox but switched to pc and they both worked well.

Friends said I sound like a robot and said they heard a lot of static. Buy ones that cost 50 and up. Yeah that’s expensive but the quality is way better.

Turtle Beach is literally the worst brand of headsets ever, they are made from the weakest plastic and the smallest wires i have ever seen i was just listening to music in my room and the right side just stopped working wast of 40 bucks and it wasn't my first pair your better off using cheap earbuds with the built in mic thats still better then whatever they can offer

I have to return this item because the mic stopped working after 2 weeks of owning this item. I do not recommend this product. It is very comfortable on the ears but no point if it is going to break

Nice set of starter headphones. My son used them for about 9 months before they completely broke. For $40, it’s not a huge loss but looking for something with longevity. Going to try another brand this time.

Good headphones, except when I chat with people using them it echoes and they can hear themselves. Because of this I have to keep the volume pretty low. Returned and went with a different Turtle Beach set instead
