Missing Parts

The bed was missing 3 parts that were vital to the support of the bed. Target was no help to get the issue resolved. They stated it was a vendor issue and contacted them. While I’m sure the bed is okay, I would not recommend ordering it as it seems it is usually missing parts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son has wanted bunk bed for years now, but I was always worried about putting one together for him. This one was relatively easy for my husband and I to put together. We love the design of it and it’s very sturdy. My seven year old and three year old fit in it great. I would definitely recommend this bed to other families!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this bed. Lots of small details to make this bed solid and sturdy. Very detailed directions. Everything in lettered so you know what goes where. There is alot of spacing between the bottom and top bed.

Very nice once it's put together but like others mentioned the instructions aren't very good at saying which way things go

Like: tons of headspace for tall people or kids who don’t want to feel claustrophobic with a bed right on top of them. Nice matte black color. Feels sturdy. No squeaking. Ladder on both ends of the bed. Dislike: the round cylindrical rungs on the ladder are painful for even my lightweight 5 yr old who has the top bunk. He complained about it almost instantly. Overall it looks like a cheap bed just based on the style of the frame. I don’t love how it looks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item has quite a few pieces to put together, but was easy to follow the directions. Once put together the bed is very sturdy. I really like how the top bunk has a guard all around the 4 sides of the bed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this bed! I bought this for my niece and me. It fit perfectly on the back wall of my bedroom and also left a bit of space. I have been using this daily ever since and I have to say, it’s quite sturdy! My niece has been fooling off on the ladder yet there isn’t any sign of damage. Definitely recommend!
This is pretty sturdy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were looking for a bunk bed for our guest bedroom for when our friends come in to stay with us and I absolutely love this beautiful metal bunk bed. It took me and my husband around 3hrs to put it together but it was pretty easy and detailed instructions were given with all the parts. This bed frame is really sturdy and can definitely fit into a small room. The best thing about the bed is that there are small connectors given to make sure the rails hold still and don't move (this means less noise). The overall look is very modern and I absolutely love the color. Overall really happy with the bunk bed.
Well, I wanted a full bed in a small room with another bed in case of extra guests...

I read the directions on line before the bed even arrived (another very, very, very bad story which need not be repeated here; but for future purchasers, don't rely on what online ordering tells you about arrival date, or what confirming email tells you about arrival date -- which is completely mind-boggling and wrong); reread all instructions when bed arrived (note, box is 109 pounds, and my Fedex delivery guy refused to let me help him up the 8 steps and left it on the driveway for me to carry in piece by piece). I did not NOT follow another suggestion about laying everything out first, which wasn't a huge issue, though taking nuts and bolts out of packaging and putting into labeled muffin tin or tea cups may be helpful. Big issue was that drawings do not exactly represent fronts and backs of pieces, so that there were a few times I had to start with take-apart activities to reverse a piece from steps earlier. SPECIFICALLY, those horizontal pieces which become the top head and footboards for twin beds, connecting the side supports -- they LOOK identical side to side, top to bottom, EXCEPT there is one small hole on an edge which needs to be placed at the bottom, closer to rear (straight) support (rather than curved support), which is needed to fasten ladder upright on top. (ugh). The individual slats top and bottom, with the snap in holders and connectors, are not as onerous as I thought they'd be -- and are secure enough that mattress works without any any bunky board or box spring. You absolutely need a second person on hand ... and once your first section is ready to be stood on end, be very careful -- I took out the overhead ceiling light fixture which sucked, shattered glass all over carpet. Lost my helper near the end so still need to finish putting side railings front and back on top, and I was having a problem getting that to fit in myself. Was going to bag them since I don't think many folks will be actually using the top twin -- as an adult, trying to scamper over that railing into the bed is beyond awkward -- but I can tell that those railings do a lot to stabilize the entire assemblage. Ladder rungs were not as uncomfortable as other folks had warned, but I will go ahead and get a swim noodle to slit and slip over them for a little more cushioning. FINALLY, nothing on line prepares you for their suggestion that top mattress is no more than 9" -- oops, mine is 10" -- would have been nice to know that height of top railing is 14".
