I washed it one time, it’s already torn. The fabric is also horrible. Very disappointed.

Terrible texture I wouldn’t recommend it at all. I washed it as I do with all new clothes and bedding or I’d be returning it. Such a disappointment. What kid wants a stiff comforter to sleep with?!

It is a really rough material. Nothing about it is comfy or cozy. I would return but I washed it thinking that might soften it up some.

I was expecting an incredibly itchy and terrible fabric based on reviews, but it’s not bad! It’s definitely not overtly soft, but it feels like linen. My ASD kiddo absolutely loves this comforter. It’s not too warm, but not cold. He’s been sleeping with it on now during summer. Come winter I’ll add a blanket underneath it for extra warmth. We’ve washed it and had no issues so hoping that stays true over time. The design is absolutely amazing and we were able to create the sweetest space (pun intended) for our kiddo!

My child has sensitive skin. This blanket makes him breakout in hives. Extremely itchy.

These are my favorite comforters to buy for my kids. The blanket is so comfortable and light on the skin. My kids always prefer pillowfort blankets over any other blankets we own. Every so often when one gets worn out I’ll go and replace it with a new one.

I always read reviews on products before I buy. You have to take them with a grain of salt, but you will usually see a pattern emerge if a product is really no good. This is the one time I didn’t check out the reviews before buying, but I WISH I had read the reviews on this item. I have, apparently, the same problem many others have…this comforter somehow sheds its stuffing in the wash. I don’t see any tears or holes, but as you can see in the photos, it is everywhere. I wanted to post a video, but I guess that’s not an option. At first we thought “it must just be because it’s new”, but it’s a couple of months old now, been washed quite a few times, and every time it’s the same thing. It takes forever to lint roll it clean. Don’t waste your money. Target and Pillowfort should both be ashamed of this comforter.

I wash and dry on gentle/delicate, sometimes I even let it air dry on my couch. I’m now buying a 3rd one for kids room redo! 🤗

It's cute and it matches the sheets and all, but it feels really rough to the touch and does not wash well. We've had to wash it twice and the filling is already clumping.

This set was just okay.. kind of disappointed honesty. They do not hold up well after being washed and seem a little itchy and faded in color.

One wash/dry and it shrunk and balled up. I cannot get the inside unclumped. Never even made on my son's bed. Followed the cleaning instructions, but this still happened. Why make anything for a child's bed that is impossible to clean?

Makes a mess and still have a bead smell even after I washed it.

I purchased less than a year ago and it is faded and has multiple rips in it. It's like a disposable comforter. It's not worth the price.

I just got it delivered today. I threw it in the washer and then dried it. The color is fading and has small tears. I bought two one for each kid and both have the faded spots and small tears. I’m really surprised at the lack of quality of this item.
