Description
What It Is: Smooth texture, refined pores, clear skin? Look no further. This creamy pore polish detoxes pores and gently buffs away dead, dull skin cells. It’s formulated with superfine microcrystalline, a 100% plant-based, biodegradable alternative to microbeads, and an antioxidant-rich blend of black currant and raspberry leaf extract, which keeps oil production and inflammation (and thus, pesky breakouts) in check. Those teeny-tiny microcrystals (which are made out of cellulose) are uniform in shape--no gritty, rough, harsh seeds or shells here. It’s the creamy, gentle exfoliator for breakout-prone skin, sensitive skin, and really any skin type that’s seeking a softer, smoother, brighter complexion.
How to Use: Using circular motions, gently massage a quarter-size amount into wet skin for 60 seconds, rinse thoroughly with cool water, and pat dry. Use AM or PM 1-2 times a week, after cleansing and/or removing makeup.
How to Recycle: Remove the cap and throw it away in the trash. Cut the tube open (but not in half!), remove any excess product, rinse, and toss in the recycling bin.*

Both the Versed scrubs are amazing. Another reviewer used the word gritty, and that is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Lush once had a crushed walnut shell scrub that I loved, but stopped making it 20 years ago. I have found nothing to replace it with until now. Finally! And the price is awesome too.

good physical exfoliant, works well without feeling too crazy abrasive. only downside for me is that it smells VERY strongly of lemongrass. luckily the scent doesn’t stick around, but if you don’t like the smell of lemongrass either, it might affect your purchase. i’ll continue to use this anyway because i really like the formula.

This scrub uses microcrystalls that are uniform in size and not jagged or rough. I used this to get rid of all the dark, dead skin cells stuck on the surface of my skin. I would mix it in my palms along with a PHA/LHA face wace and a hydrating face wash each night. It quickly became an obsession. Am now on my 2nd tube, and it's done such a great job.

I love Versed! I have a fair complexion and am 64 so I need something that is gentle and non-drying and this fits the bill. it has very fine microfoliants and does a great job of exfoliating. This is simikar to Dermalogica's microfoliant only theirs is a powder. Only drawback is the price is a bit higher but I got it on sale so all good!

I’m 30 years old with incredibly dry skin. I use chemical exfoliants through the week but with such dry skin I need a physical exfoliant as well. A friend recommended trying this and wow, I’m impressed. The microcrystals do the work and I barely have to use any product to get a good scrub going. I was worried about paying almost $20 for such a small tube but it’s absolutely worth it with how little product you need to use to see results. It’s so gentle and leaves my skin feeling soft but not irritated, which again always worries me with a physical exfoliant. I’ve used expensive brands and this tops them all (including Tula). 10/10 am buying again the second it runs out! Worth it.

On the Versed website, this scrub is recommended for oily, sensitive skin. I like some of their products but I cannot believe they say this stuff is for sensitive skin. It is not at all gentle, very gritty, and nearly impossible to wash off. It has a very, very strong sent and irritated my eyes right away because of it. I regret even trying it as my face is now roughed up and my eyes are still watering three hours on. Do not buy if you are at all sensitive to even natural fragrances or if you do not want half your skin to be removed.
