Description
What It Is: Formulated with ingredients like vitamin E, algae extract, and squalane (which hydrates and replenishes the moisture your skin once had), this rich moisture cream keeps skin nourished and hydrated while fending off signs of aging. Oilier skin types can use this moisturizer as a night cream or as their heavier wintertime moisturizer.
Packaging contains recycled content - 50% PCR (post-consumer recycled) plastic jar.
How To Use: Warm a pea-sized amount between fingertips and smooth into skin. Use on the entire face PM and/or AM after applying serums.
How To Recycle:
Remove the cap, rinse out any residue, replace the cap, and toss in your curbside recycling bin.* Throw the jar’s inner liner in the trash.

A: Hi there! All of our products are free from ethanol alcohol, ethyl alcohol, propanol alcohol, alcohol denat, isopropyl alcohol, and isopropanol alcohol, which are the drying alcohols—the kinds to be avoided in skincare. However, we’re not completely alcohol-free because, while as a group they get a bad rap, not all alcohols are bad. Some are actually quite useful in skincare, like cetyl alcohol, which is used as an emulsifier in our Skin Soak Rich Moisture Cream, and it doesn’t have the drying properties of the types listed above. Our Wash It Out Gel Cleanser contains benzyl alcohol at a very low level, it serves as a preservative and stabilizer. Hope this helps!

Although we haven’t tested our products for non-comedogenic certification, we rarely get complaints of pore-clogging or breakouts. If you're looking for a soothing moisturizer I'd recommend Dew Point which has aloe leaf juice, a soothing, healing plant extract that is also very moisturizing, as well as green tea extract, an antioxidant that helps quell inflammation.

I love this moisturizer but I swear, everytime I purchase it the safety seal (a sticker on the side of the lid so you can tell if it has been opened) is always tampered with! Whether I order online or purchase in store. What is up with that??

I have combination skin and have gone through several products, trying to find one that moisturizes well, but doesn’t leave my forehead super greasy the morning after applying it. This has done great for that! I also haven’t had any breakouts related to using this, which I was worried about as my skin can be very finicky. I just finished my first full container and will be ordering another.

I love this face lotion. I’ve been using it for about a year. It’s a nice balance of thick and light. It moisturizes well and doesn’t leave a greasy feeling afterward. I’m 37 with mixed oily/dry skin and this lotion does a nice job of keeping my skin from getting too dry without making me breakout. I pair it with the Versed vitamin C serum in the AM and apply it after either a BHA or AHA in the evenings. I love that it’s scentless. I do wish I could get a larger container so I didn’t go through so much plastic.

I have sensitive skin prone to irritation, but also gets dry, especially in the winter months. This is rich and creamy and absorbs well. I can also use it in the summer months without it feeling heavy or greasy. I've tried other moisturizers, but always come back to this one.

Let me preface this by saying my skin is not sensitive. I sleep with makeup on, put lotion on occasionally and have had MAYBE 3 noticeable blemishes in the past year. I got this because I really liked the texture and how hydrating it felt. I have NEVER IN MY LIFE had more pimples than I do after using this. I couldn’t figure out what it was until I started eliminating serums and creams to figure out what was causing it, and it was definitely this. I’m talking pimples popping up overnight after using this. My skin is not sensitive so I’m not sure what is in this that caused it. Everyone’s face is different so it may work for others but never in my life will I ever use this again.

I have always had a hard time finding product that worked well with my skin. My skin is always either too oily or too dry. Never in between. I came across this product by an influencer I follow, and thought I would try it! The prices aren’t anywhere near being too expensive. And a little goes such a long way with it! I pair this with the glow drops that give my skin the perfect amount of natural looking glow, which I love as I have stopped relying on make-up. My skin is filled with the perfect amount of hydration that doesn’t leave my skin too oily afterwards, like a lot of other brands have, and my face doesn’t dry out after an hour like it does with other brands as well. I just bought this a day ago but it was totally worth it! I have REALLY dry skin that peels a lot and is sensitive as well. While this product does feel very creamy and dries down without the sticky feeling, it didn’t work for me. However this isn’t the products fault I realized after trying two other moisturizers that my skin reacts to algae thats also in this. My skin concerns are 23 year old dry, combination skin, acne prone, hyperpigmentation.

Not at all unscented. It has a very artificial, heavy floral smell. If you are sensitive to scents, you should avoid. It smells like a grandma’s cold cream.
