Q: Is this humidifier really loud? I am looking for one for my newborn baby. Also is the night light too bright?

However, you can place this on the opposite side of the room from your newborn and that will reduce the light near them as they sleep if you find it is too bright. Q: Does this unit contain teflon, ppe or any other such poisonous substances? I need a vaporizer for my bird, but they can easily be poisoned from such substances.

I am so irritated. I've been patient with this product and now I feel like I really wasted my money. I tried cleaning the filter. I soaked it in vinegar per the vicks videos. It works but only for a few days or weeks (what ever your luck is).

Worked perfectly for a week. Added salt as per directions it worked well. I let it completely dry for storage. Pulled it out a month later and will not steam again. This is my second one and would have thought they fixed this issue. Returning .

I've been using these over 20 years now. It is wonderful once you figure out the salt need for your specific water. This thing allows me to sleep & helps me take less medicine at night for allergies etc. Highly recommend. My only wish is there to be a timer that will turn it off. It's easy to let it run dry and keep it plugged in on accident when your foggy from congestion etc.

False advertisement because it didn’t steam like the video, matter of fact, it didn’t even steam at all. It just made just a “sputtering sound.” Tried the salt method and it didn’t help with either. Bought it and returned it within an hour. Don’t waste your money and time on this piece of junk.

This is a great budget humidifier. Large size and does the job. Everyone freaking out about the black particles did not read the manual because it literally says in it that it is normal and part of the process of minerals in the water becoming charred. If you clean out and use fresh water it is not an issue. Mold doesn’t grow that way after one use. Added a bit of salt to mine and worked great. Only complaint i have it i wish it had the option to turn off the nightlight bc i am a total dark room sleeper.

These are leftover minerals from your water that turn black because they have passed through the electrodes and vaporized. This machine is pretty loud it also leaves black specs of something in the water after it gets going. It’s pretty annoying the only really cool thing is being able to use the Vicks additives for smells to help your sinuses. I don’t think I’d recommend though.

Amazing humidifer. I buy this one always. It's the biggest capacity on the market for a Hot Steam Vaporizer. Container is literally tip-proof. You could literally kick it and it wouldnt knock over. The base is so large and wide and sturdy.
