Q: Is everything in the box ready to "hook up"? I am not savvy on these things but would like to know if it requires anything that isn't in the box.
A: Mine did not come with an optical cord to hook up to TV via soundbar.
submitted byG - 1 year agoA: I just returned mine. Like mentioned above, mine didn't come with the optical cord. I called an 800 # and they verified it should of been included. I'm waiting for them to be in stock again.
submitted bycat - 11 months agoA: The sound bar will come all need connections and remote. You will need to attach power to the sound bar and an audio connection between the sound bar and the TV.

Q: Will set-top TV box control volume on sound bar?
A: Yes, if you have a VIZIO TV. It has a feature called "VIZIO TV Control" that allows the soundbar to be controlled by a VIZIO TV.

submitted byRobert - 3 years agoTarget expert supportA: It has a learning feature to assign vol to your remote. Iam able to operate vol and mute with my dish network remote. I cant turn it on/off so turned off eco mode so it will stay on always on the box "not remote" hold power and vol down button for 5 seconds and a low chime will let you know. its set.

A: No, this sound bar does not have an HDMI ARC or eARC connection.

Q: Does this model have nightmode?
A: Yes, this model does offer a Night Mode option. When enabled (On), the bass level will be lowered on the sound bar. If an external subwoofer is connected, bass level will also be lowered.

Q: I have a Visio subwoofer and two surround sound side speakers that connect to the subwoofer is it possible to connect those to this soundbar.
A: In VIZIO Sound Bar Systems the components are self-contained and balanced, so the wattage transmitted between each internal component is already configured to give you the maximum Sound Pressure Level. To maintain this balance, additional speakers cannot be added.
