  • A: If I get sidetracked and don't wipe mine down right away after use and need a little bit more to clean it, I just wrap the probe with a soapy sponge or rag and pull it through a time or two and finish it off with a damp cloth to rinse.

  • A: Hello Fia, this thermometer cannot be left in the grill. It's only meant to quickly take the temperature of the food that you're making and then be removed. You may be interested in our iGrill Mini or iGrill 2 thermometers, which are meant to have the probes left in your food during the entire duration of the cooking process. Thanks!

My husband gave this to me as a gift. It lasted 2 months. I hardly used it, possibly 6 times both on a grill and on a stove. I always hand washed it I made sure it pointed down so no water got in the mechanism when it was dried off with a towel we put it in the drawer. I take it out of the door tonight and I can't use it it's blank. Try to change the battery since I had one and nothing.. This is a total piece of junk. Was this made by someone else and put your name on it?

Not able to replace battery

The thermometer worked well but I can't seem to get the screw out of the back to replace the battery. I have tried and the screw won't come out and I have stripped it and now I won't be able to remove it. This is disappointing as I liked the auto off feature but if I can't replace the battery, it's useless to me.

When it worked it was good..... used 3 times and stopped had to change the battery which is quite pricey and used it 4 times in a 3 week timeframe being careful as to how I stored it and again it stopped.... not going to replace battery again as I think this is a boat anchor and junk with its battery appetite..... cannot afford to use as cost of batteries will be more than cost of the product

I received the Weber instant read temperature probe as a Christmas gift from my wife. Worked well the first 5 times till I’ve accidentally bumped it off the kitchen bench top. Dropped 90cm/35 inches. Not a scratch on it at all but the internal screen has a small crack in the upper left corner of the glass and now the screen is unreadable. I would not recommend this product purely because I know for a fact, on the first drop it can and will break. See attached photos.

I bought this during the summer to help with a Bar B Q. It worked great the first few weeks then it quit. I thought it might be battery so I replaced it. Still didn't work. Ended up buying another one. and same as the first 3 weeks it quit working. Very disappointed. The retailer will not take back. . Now I have two :-(.

Thermometer is in very good condition and barely used. Less than a year old. Stopped working. I replaced battery with several separate batteries and it will not turn on. I would like for the company to send me a replacement.

This thermometer worked once or twice, after i changed the battery it only reads HH. Cant reset it or anything even when i change batteries. Having owned many of weber items i find it hard to believe this lives up to their standards
