@heyrachelfaye Today’s focus was SELF-CARE 🫶🏻 Woke up feeling incredibly irritable and snippy (tbh, we all have those moments). To move through those feelings, I took a serious look at what I needed (time) and I asked for/made my needs known about it rather than keeping them to myself. I made a list, took a shower, ran some errands alone (including a nice bagel and iced coffee run, Target, and the store), and was able to destress by getting things out of my mind and off my list. My stress decreased, my list had everything crossed off, and now I’m writing this while sitting on the couch watching some relaxing tv with the hubs. The short of it is - sometimes taking the moment to listen to what your mind and body need, making those needs known, and then acting to fulfill those needs can make all the difference. Going to bed tonight feeling much better mentally than I felt when I woke up. Cheers to getting things done, voicing your needs, and this adorable target sweatshirt that captured today’s purpose perfectly.
