Live to fight and fight to live in the next entry in the Xenoblade Chronicles™ series
Join Noah and Mio, members of the two opposing nations of Keves and Agnus, on a heartfelt journey to end the cycle of violence. A group of six characters from these nations join together to awaken the colonies of Aionios and expose the true threat both nations face. Traverse massive, fantastical landscapes as you learn how this game connects to the larger Xenoblade Chronicles™ story.
Command six characters and seamlessly enter real-time, RPG combat
All six of your core party members jump into action against enemies, auto-attacking with their distinct Arts and weapons. Position your team to take advantage of Arts and maximize damage and debuffs. Pairs of characters can Interlink to form a mighty Ouroboros capable of taking down the most threatening enemies with powerful Arts.
I'm a huge fan of the series and was looking forward to this. It's almost as good as the second game.

The gameplay is great and many things have improved, but the story isn’t nearly as interesting or fleshed out. This didn’t feel like an end to the trilogy and certainly didn’t leave me feeling like I had just had a huge adventure like 1 and even two accomplished. Oh and bring back Jin.

Just within one hour of this game, I was absolutely amazed at how much was happening already. The battle system is really good, the music is amazing as always, the environment looks amazing, but Nintendo Switch isn’t too powerful to showcase the most beautiful graphics, and the story is absolutely gorgeous. The story is wonderful theme of life and death and a story that keeps you engaged. Absolutely loving the game, I definitely recommend this masterpiece.

I mean this game is just a fantastic closer to the Xenoblade story! It also works exceptionally well as a standalone story! Best cast out of any Xenoblade game so far and the gameplay is a great mix of the first and second games! 10/10

What you need to know. You can play this without ever having touched 1, 2, Golden Country or X. This game has its own story and it starts with several anime in the tutorial to get you clear on what is going on and who is who. The battle system has been dumbed down from Chronicles 2, but you still get lots of things on the screen. Author is the same as 2, so expect a great story. Looks very promising. The only big downfall is the background areas are very drab, and cluttered. Im not to sure about the way items are displayed on the field, I thought Golden County got it right. Overall it seems like a game that once you get into it you won't be able to put it down, and I have read you can spend 150 hours with it. Definately worth the money. There is a also DLC pack that is definatly worth buying. If you are into Tales games, Dragon Quest, Ys or Final Fantasy, this is one to get.
