Zevia Cola Zero Calorie Soda - 8pk/12 fl oz Cans

Was expecting sweetness without sugar, but… not what I expected.

Delicious drink that’s so much healthier than any other pop out there!

It was my first time trying these and I took one sip and wanted to throw away the entire case. I decided to put it in the fridge to let it chill and try again. It got better after cool (cola flavor was much stronger because it was lacking intially). Now after a few days of having these, I can say that they taste pretty good. Defintely has to be cold. Trying to cut back on sugar isn't easy, but I'm glad I found these. Don't expect your classic cola, but more like the essence of it.

This is honestly pretty disgusting. This drink is overly sweet and absolutely nothing similar to COKE.

I stopped drinking regular soda years ago due to health reasons. I wanted something that tasted like soda but without the sugar. Zevia has been my go to everyday drink. I love most flavors but this is my favorite. I just wish it wasn't so expensive.

I like the fact that it is sugar free. It's a light cola and light cola taste.

There is not much taste to this. It reminds me of really watered down pop.

Zevia review If you want to avoid diabetes and heart disease which are some of the leading causes to an early grave here in the US, then Zevia is the perfect alternative. A 12-ounce can of traditional sugary soda has about 45 to 100 milligrams of sodium – a significant amount if you drink more than one or consume other sodium-rich foods and drinks throughout the day. A 12-ounce can of standard soda contains about 39 grams of sugar and 150 calories. That's equivalent to about 9 teaspoons of sugar per can just to put things into perspective. Traditional diet soda seems to be the lesser of two evils in that it doesn’t have any sugar but still contains sodium and a blend of Carmel color, citric acid, phosphoric acid, potassium citrate, natural flavors, aspartame and acesulfame potassium. Phosphoric acid is used in certain soft drinks, to add tartness to the beverage. The acid in this ingredient is what erodes tooth enamel. Research has also linked excessive exposure to adverse health issues. For example, according to a study in the journal Epidemiology, drinking two or more colas a day—diet or regular—was associated with a twofold risk of developing kidney disease. The culprit? The researchers indicated that although an exact cause is unknown, the phosphoric acid in colas has been associated with urinary changes that promote kidney stones & if left untreated can lead to kidney disease. Zevia is probably the best alternative. Its ingredients are Carbonated Water, Stevia Leaf Extract, Tartaric Acid, Natural Flavours, Caffeine, Citric Acid. Citric acid is perfectly safe. Your body breaks it down and excretes it through your urine. In fact, it may even be helpful in preventing calcium oxalate kidney stones. Tartaric acid is one of the only negative ingredient I found. This chemical is a white crystalline diprotic organic acid. While it occurs naturally in many plants, particularly grapes, bananas, and tamarinds, it is one of the main acids found in wine and soft drinks. This strong acid does a number on teeth and can lead to cavities, tooth loss, and gum decay. Solution, brush your teeth after you drink or use a paper straw to drink with lessening the contact to your teeth while also being kinder to the environment (paper straw). Bottom line is this, all sodas should be consumed sparingly just like eating dessert. They should not be consumed on a daily basis if you want to be the best, healthiest version of yourself you can be. Zevia wins by a country mile!If you are hooked on regular or diet sodas, Zevia seems to be the best alternative. It may cost more than regular sodas in the short term, but just think how much your medical bills will be in the long term if you continue to drink diet and traditional soft drinks. It’s your life. This tastes like plain seltzer water. Honestly ZERO flavor to it and the aftertaste is awful. If you like seltzer water rheb you will enjoy this but if yiu are seeking a diet cola, keep looking. Go right past this overpriced trash water. At $7 for 8 cans you would hope it's worth it. It is not!! Don't say I didn't tell you.

Very versatile for a dye free cola. My favorite flavor is black cherry but the cola is on hand all the time in my home. I use as a mixer mostly

Best Substitute out there for coca cola. No aspartame and otter harmful chemicals. Works for me and it’s clear!

Don't expect this to taste like cola. Very, slight hint of the taste. I'm going to finish the 8 pack, if I can, and try the cherry cola to see if it has more flavor.
