This humidifier works great, for about a week. It slowly stops working...first the mist stops going up and out and starts shooting downward causing everything to get wet. Then it has error problems every other day, and eventually just doesn't turn on at all. We had ours for about 2-3 months and it just quit working. [...]Very disappointed!

I had a non-ultrasonic humidifier before this one. I wanted to try the frog to see if it would get more humidity around the room. Needs to be on elevated surface that can get wet. It's just a little cumbersome to set it up and pour out. Due to the handle the water tank isn't flat and makes it harder to hold upside down to fill-you can't lay it flat on a surface. I had to get a second set of hands. You have to properly align the frog's eyes on the water tank. I learned to match the curve on the top with the smile on the tank. I've had this for a few months. When there is no mist coming out but there is water- turn off the fan, take off the frog eyes, turn on the fan, let it mist, then replace the frog eyes. Disappointing when you don't know if it was running all night and your kid is sick. When turning off and emptying you need a bucket or towel for each piece since they drip. I use this with a plastic tray large enough for the base in case of leakage.

The first night we used this it made so little steam that it didnt even register on the humidistat 2ft away from it. In fact, the humidity rose in the morning when I turned the unit off and opened my son's door. I gave it one more try and the 2nd night it leaked EVERYWHERE! Luckily I had it in a giant Tupperware lid so it sat in its own puddle...really safe since it was still plugged in.

I thought I did my homework - read as many reviews as I could about a variety of brands and styles. The frog humidifier seemed to have many happy customers. So I purchased Senor Froggy - at full price no less - and set him up in my daughter's room. We followed the instructions about not having the bottom obstructed by a carpet or towel and about setting it about 2 feet off of the ground. For the first 5 days the unit SEEMED to be working though I was wondering why the water level never chan ged. Well on the 6th day Senor Froggy did not turn on - no click of the knob, no lights, no hum of a motor. Senor Froggy was silent. Needless to say he's got to go back. If you choose to try this humidifier I hope you have better luck than we did.

I bought this humidifier because I thought it was so cute. That was 5 years ago and it still works great. It is very easy to fill and is very quiet. The only drawback I would have is that it makes my son's bedding very damp if I put it too near his bed. The mist blows straight out in the same direction all night and so makes a lot of damp areas. Otherwise its an adorable, easy to use humidifier. And it works! For the money its a great buy.

We recently bought this for our newborn for her room. It matches our woodland critter theme, it's super cute and works very, very silently. It also is very efficient with the water output, keeping it nice and moist in the room, but only needing to be refilled every other night! We've had it about 2 weeks so far and no problems!

I've used 3 of these humidifier and kept exchanging it at target because it keeps breaking! My baby is almost 1 and we've exchanged it 2 times almost every 3 months because the first one started leaking between where the clear and green plastic meets, second one the motor started making really high screeching noise and the third one have right now started making the same motor screeching noise! I usually keep the humidifier on during night for 7-8 hours on medium. I liked this because the wate r sprayer is the best I've seen from the ones that's sold in the stores, much better than vick's but it just doesnt last and this time I'm going to return it and not exchange. I think i'll just spend [$] bucks more and get a better one that'll last years not months.

I bought this to use during my pregnany and will have it for my son's room. It works so well. Very VERY quiet, the tank just needs filling every other night and it is just such a cute idea for a humidifier. The cool mist comes out of 2 small slits above the frog's eyes, kids will love it! It doesn't need a filter so it needs weekly cleaning. The cleaning instructions are just wash with vinegar and water, you can't get any easier. A great buy!

I got this for my son when he was 9 months old. This makes a great baby shower gift or even gift for a new baby. It is what every mother will need when their child is sick! The frog when great my son's sage green monkey theme. Also it turns off when runs out of water! I was at work worried and then looked it up to find this.

I was helping my neighbor babysit her granddaughter when she came down with a really bad cold or allergy attack. She was scared to death of the first humidifer we bought. Just happened to be in Target and saw the frog - she thinks its a toy.She wants it on every time she comes by. It works great and if you have a child who is afraid of a humidifier - works even better.
