A: Hello, The Munchkin Fresh Food Feeder is first and foremost top rack dishwasher safe. As well, if you find that you are getting food stuck in the net the best way to remove it is with a soft bristled tooth brush. You can also soak the net in warm soapy water with a table spoon of vinegar to help dissolve and remove the pieces of food left/build up in the net.

Love this product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My twins loved this it was a great way of introducing solids to them without the worry of them choking on anything. Cleaning is easy, we sprayed it out with water and then washed the netting with soap and water. It’s made great and has held up longer than other mesh products we have tried.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It seems durable. It was effective to safely give ny baby fruit. However, he did not like the texture of the netting. I feel like it was easy to clwan but id be afraid of it holding bacteria or molding since it is fabric.

I used this for fruits for my baby & it is impossible to clean all the fruit of the mesh after. I scrubbed & put in the dishwasher, food stayed and the mesh presented as moldy.

Great for Juicy Fruits
I saw a lot of reviews about these being hard to clean but I wanted to try these anyways. I can see how these would be hard to clean if I put like a banana or baby food in it. I've only used it for juicy fruit so he's pretty much just sucking out juice and for that I think it works better than the silicone ones. I've not had an issue cleaning it as long as I rinse it throughly right away. It's easy for my 4 month old to hold and use. I feel like the design is best for babies who are young and just being introduced to juicy things. I've also read that it's hard to open but I haven't had any issue with that either.
