They fell flat!
Cookies came out like flat pancakes! Made them standard size and put the dough in the fridge for 10 minutes and they still came out flat! Never again!

Chocolate chips
I am so disappointed in the cookie mix. This has been a staple of my holiday backing for decades and what is wrong with yall? Taking out the chocolate chips and adding the dehydrated chocolate made out of flour sugar and chocolate flavor. The corporate greed is out of control and now you’ve lost a loyal customer. Is losing customers worth it to you?!

Cake Cookies?
The dough was loose which caused some to spread more than they should when cooked. Once baked, they were very soft with cake-like consistency. Very little flavor. They were just AWFUL. Not a normal chocolate chip cookie at all. Nothing on packaging said it was supposed to be a cake cookie.

Not that good
A lot of butter, but at the same time the cookie doesn’t spread well. Edges get really brown and the center takes longer to cook. I also do not like the taste!! Sooooo sweet. Too, too sweet. Will not buy again.

Worst mix
Don't know what is worse, the taste of these cookies or the fact that I wasted a whole stick of butter. Never buy again

I don't think I will make these anymore. In the ingredients it says Made from a Bioengineered Source!!!!! Seriously?? We can't even have cookies without junk in them?

Directions are wrong
The 7.5 oz Chocolate chip cookie mix calls for 1/2 stick of butter and 1 tablespoon water...which is wrong. The cookies came out flat as a pancake and were awful. The 9 year old girl I sit for said it should be an egg. (all your cookie directions say egg not water) We tried it with an egg, NO water, and they were great.

Cake like not cookies like
I was really looking forward to some easy chocolate chip cookies. I made these and was greatly disappointed because I ended up with a cake the size of a cookie. This did not turn out at all as I like my cookies like cookies, not sponge like cake.

Easy and Good
I ordered these so my Niece could make them and it would be easy for her to do. They are actually very good and you don't have to add or mix a ton of ingredients to made them. We ate them within minutes out of the oven while still warm and they were SO good, soft and full of chips. These are almost as good as home made but with all the hassel, they really are tasty, what can I say they are really GOOD !

Absolute garbage. I followed the recipe exactly. There’s way too much butter in this recipe. They spread out and were piles of grease. I wish I could include a picture!

Yum!
The Betty Crocker Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix (17.5 oz) is a classic, go-to option for anyone craving warm, homemade cookies with minimal effort. The mix is super easy to use—just add butter, water, and an egg—and it results in soft, chewy cookies filled with plenty of chocolate chips. The cookies bake perfectly every time, with the right balance of sweetness and that irresistible chocolatey goodness. What I love most is how quick and convenient it is to make a batch of cookies that taste like they’re made from scratch. Whether you’re baking for a family treat or a party, these cookies are always a hit. If you’re looking for a reliable, delicious chocolate chip cookie mix, this one definitely delivers!

So good
These are so good. They taste like butter and happiness. I have been baking for 25 years and my mom was a professional cake decorator for 40 and these rival home baked cookies. I do love chocolate chip cookies though, so it’s hard to go too far a field. The peanut butter ones are really good too.

Not Fresh
I buy these every now and then because they are my guilty pleasure. This time when I was mixing, I noticed the chocolate chips looked “dusty” then when fully mixed, they looked a weird red brown color. I put them in the oven and guess what? The chips did not melt and broke into powder when bitten into. It was very weird and gross knowing probably used old chocolate chips.

Been making these for a while because I got a cook
Been making these for a while because I got a cookie loving family and it's good and easy. I mix the cookie mix with the egg first. We store our butter in the fridge so I microwave it for 15 secs. Just make sure there is no melted butter at all. I feel like that screws up the cookie and I made that mistake before. The butter is still hard/ slightly cool when I mix it in . I just keep mixing it and put in some elbow work and eventually everything comes together to form the cookie dough. The dough becomes the perfect texture where you can form small cookie balls or whatever size you want. I preheated the oven before to 350 degrees. Honestly it doesn't matter to me what material the pan I use to bake the cookies on. I use whatever is in the kitchen. I always line the pan with wet parchment paper. Get parchment paper the size of your pan, crumple it, wet it, shake off the water, and put it on your pan. Then put your cookie dough formed balls on the pan. Trust. Usually the cookies are done around 14ish minutes, but literally just look in your oven to see if they're golden brown crisp edges looking. You know when they're done just by how they look. Sometimes I overcook the cookies and they are tan tan gold brown, but they are still chewy. Okay cookies straight out of the oven, put them straight in the freezer for 5 minutes. Trust. We eat them after we take it out of the freezer and it's good. It's both chewy and crunchy crispy because of the butter so good. If you save it for the next day I know the crispness kind of isn't there but it's still chewy and good.

Always a favorite
These are my homes favorite cookies. Not overly sweet. I make them kind of on the bigger side to keep the cookies softer. 2 added ingredients make for a great sweet treat
