A: The handle is textured. You can't really tell from the photo. I haven't used mine yet, but the handle isn't as smooth as it looks, and I think Bevel ought to make that more clear from their description, because I think a lot of potential users, especially the women shaving in the shower or tub, are looking at it, and not wanting to take the risk of dropping it all the time.

Worth it.
For anyone looking to buy the absolute best clippers you can, then this set is for you. The price put me off for a while but I figure I'll have this set for at least the next five years. If you use this thing daily like I do, it pays for itself within a year of owning it. Worth the money, worth the quality, and it's super easy to use.

Not Very Safe for a Safety Razor
I found this razor extremely difficult to use even with help and I was nicked several times. In the end, after only two uses, I decided not to use it again. Lost cause and expensive lesson.

Great Razor, read directions before use.
This is a good safety razor. Anyone who is giving it low stars because of “cutting themselves” did not use it properly. This isn’t a “quick shave and go” type of razor. Hold it at an angle and go in small strokes. Is there a learning curve? Yes. Is it worth it to learn that rather than to have razor bumps and burning legs with commercial razors? Also yes. Overall, If you are thinking of switching I would just weigh out your pros and cons. This razor does provide a closer and smoother shave but it does take longer to shave. It’s great for people that can’t use razors due to the scented strips or people prone to ingrown hairs.

Poor handle design
I like this razor a lot! My complaint is it’s VERY difficult to change the blades. The handle is supposed to twist off from the head to change it out. Unfortunately the handle also has 2 parts that twist so getting the correct section of the handle to twist off the head is difficult. I have had to use a pliers to do this, ruining the finish of the handle. It’s a bad design flaw in my opinion.

New Colour, Same Flaw
Love the new colour, still disappointed the handle is not knurled, covered in a silicone sleeve, or some other way to prevent slipping while in use which tends to cause the majority of all my facial nicks.

This is a great product I’ve used a lot of trimmers razors, etc. some cheap and some expensive but none have come close to your product. I am in the process of purchasing your shaving product for all three of my sons, including myself I just recently purchased two of your waterproof trimmers for myself and my son and I will be purchasing two more for my other two sons here shortly for their birthdays. I hope your product will be around for generations to come and not sell out to other companies that would diminish the quality of your product. I am a huge supporter of black owned businesses and product. I also just recently bought your razor. I have use the schick injector dial O-Matic for years and the blade for it is becoming hard to find so looking to try something new, how ever I had a difficult time loading the blades. I was afraid that I was going to cut my fingers trying to load the blades but it works great.

Amazing
Up until today, I started using Gillette labs a while back and thought it was game changing. I got my bevel today and I was blown away. I have pretty thick facial hair and it was a smooth shave and it didn’t irritate my skin like the Gillette does. You guys earned yourself a new customer and I definitely recommend this product.

Bad Experience
I was excited to try out this style of razor. Based on all the research and what I saw this was the best to avoid razor burns. My experience was the opposite. It is very easy to cut up your face and I had razor burn all over my neck. For the price of the razor and kit I was disappointed overall. I have shaved many times and never had that experience.

I really want to support this business, but this razor is a hazard. Safety razors went out of style for a reason. Easy to cut yourself, and the razor—while well-designed—is too slippery to hold.
