A: Hello there. Burt’s Bees Baby Shampoo and Wash is formulated with ingredients that are gentle to the skin and eyes. There is not an ingredient that makes the shampoo tear free, but rather the absence of irritating ingredients that may cause discomfort during shampooing if product inadvertently comes in contact with the eyes. ABER: man erfährt leider nirgends etwas über den PH-Wert, obwohl dieser nicht ganz unwichtig ist, nicht einmal hier, auf der Herstellerseite bekommt man eine Antwort!!! Ich erhoffe mir nun eine Reaktion aufgrund meiner Bewertung! Ich habe das Shampoo getestet und finde es soweit gut, die Haare glänzen, sind weich und gut kämmbar, der Duft ist auch angenehm, die Inhaltsstoffe auf der Flasche unterscheiden sich allerdings von der hiesigen, z.B. ist in meiner geringfügig Alkohol enthalten, was ich bedauerlich finde! Über eine Info bezüglich des PH-Wertes würde ich mich freuen!!

We have used this shampoo and wash for all 3 kids over the past 10 years! It smells perfect, is gentle on skin but actually cleans baby! If it gets in baby’s eyes it’s ok! Makes great bubbles too!

I read the ingredients before I purchased and it doesn't mention alcohol but when I received my bottle the ingredients on the back of it says it contains alcohol

Dryyyy!!!
I would leave 0 stars if i could. The shampoo dried my baby’s hair!! She has super soft beautiful hair. I usually use Johnson and Johnson, but lately I’ve been super paranoid of chemicals used in children’s products so i decided to switch to burts bees shampoo since it had lesssss chemicals. OMG never again. Tomorrow i will be returning, it left my hand the one i held the wash cloth dry and itchy. My baby’s skin and hair were extremely dry and i could tell she was extremely uncomfortable the rest of the night!! DO NOT BUY!

Formula change is awful
We have used this shampoo and wash on our 5 year old since he was born, and I always trusted that it was safe and soothing on his skin. When I purchased the most recent bottle, I noticed the bottle itself had a new design, but it didn't mention "new formula," so I didn't think much of it until my son became incredibly itchy over his entire body without an obvious reason. We hadn't changed any products, or laundry detergent, he hadn't been playing in any weeds or had any new foods or experiences to cause it - I was at a loss, until I thought to compare the labels on our empty bottle and the new one. In addition to changes in the ingredients, there's now a warning that says "Excessive use or prolonged exposure may cause irritation to skin and urinary tract. Discontinue use if rash, redness or itching occurs. Consult your physician if irritation persists." As much as I love the smell, and the nostalgia and memories it holds for my kiddo and the last 5 years of his life, I won't be purchasing this product again because he literally can't stop itching since using it.

Bought this for my 3 month old baby with sensitive skin and it was fine but it also started tear free. The soap gave her rashes around her eyes. Worst product. I also have the lotion and it dries out her skin so much. Burt bees sucks.
