essie No Chips Ahead Top Coat - chip-resistant - 0.46 fl oz

I didn’t have problems with the polish drying but I did have problems with the brush dragging the color and leaving lives where you could see my nail because the polish was gone. I also got a few bubbles. As far as preventing chips…meh

I'm disappointed in this top coat. I got it because Essie was such a recommended brand when I was researching online - I guess I should've looked for the reviews of this particular product. My nails are full of dents and imprints even after I let my nails dry for hours. Even now, nearly 10 hours later, they dent so easily if they touch anything. I don't want to have to go buy another top coat, but I really don't think I can reasonably keep using this product - such a waste.

I should’ve read the reviews, but typically I like the brand so I didn’t think anything of it. The product will never dry and even if you do your nails at lunch, you should still expect to wake up the next day with blanket dents in your nails. And even the thinnest layer will bubble. DO NOT PURCHASE

Interesting to see the bad reviews because it worked for me. It gives my nails a nice glossy look and my polish stays on longer. I would buy again.

Poor formula Finger print smudging and not glossy. Really bad. None of my other brand top coats do this. Definitely do not buy this!!

It didn't dry even after more than 12 hours. I woke up to sheets marks on my nails. Super frustrating!

Quickly dried and no chips! I used an OPL nail polish because I wanted a specific color. That in conjunction with the top coat has lasted for days for me! Very happy with my purchase.

I bought this in the UK, wish I'd seen reviews before I'd bought it but assumed it would be good given the brand and other purchases. What a waste of money...it just didn't dry at all! I left it for 3 hours before I needed to physically do some work, but then it just dented and smudged as it was still soft and not fully dry. It's unreturnable now though now I've used it!

Like all the other reviews state, this truly doesn’t dry. It’s awful. Please don’t waste your money. I’m disappointed in myself that I didn’t read reviews first. Essie team - providing this feedback to the team isn’t helpful. A refund would be much better.

This is the worst top coat I’ve ever used. It takes forever to dry, bubbles, chips, and gets imprints even after it’s been left to dry for hours.

this is the worst top coat from essie. do not use this do not buy this! I’ve been doing my nails weekly for the past 2 years and I’ve never had bubbling, not drying, imprints, dents like I have with this top coat. it never dries! It is nothing like the other essie top coats. I am so upset I did my nails with these and they are ruined for valentines day and now I have to go back out and exchange for a better top coat. The first photo was taken at 2pm where I just painted the top coat on- it looked fine. normally when i let my nails dry for an hour to 2 hours they are fine and will look great with other top coats. these next photos are my nails the next day! they look AWFUL. Picked up sheet imprints too. i wish i could give this 0 stars.

I wish I had stuck with “good to go” instead of trying this one. I really wanted my manicure to last as a busy mom, but this did not work at all. My nails creased and smudged even with an hour dry time before bed. Even my 5 year old daughter asked why my nails weren’t glossy.

I know Essie as a high quality brand. This top coat thoroughly disappointed me. No matter how long I wait, the top coat is super tacky. Even after waiting for 2-3 hours before going to bed, I wake up with imprints on my nails. Makes my manicure look super unprofessional.

This is the worst topcoat I’ve ever used. It does NOT Stop chipping. I have natural nails and found out it was useless.

I use it as a top coat for no chip resistance on my nails.

Looked up the item because I thought I was using it wrong. I applied one coat and it never dried. When I did think it was dry after about 2 hours I rubbed my eye and it started burning. I woke up with creased nail polish, and for that matter my nail polish did end up chipping. I was surprised because I usually am a big fan of other Essie nail polishes.

Bought a new bottle and it is terrible. It never set after hours of waiting.. overnight it creased. I love Essie and am stunned!
