I was looking for a easy blender to mix smoothies for a new diet plan I am doing. So many were not good according to reviews for chopping ice/frozen berries so I went with the Magic Bullet since it had less complaints in that area. I love it! I use it every morning and it chops my frozen berries in seconds. It takes less than 20 seconds to mix my whole breakfast. Clean up is a snap! Highly reccommend this product!

The infomercials are amazing, but that is the only thing that is. I have tried this on every food item I used my old chopper on and it can't process any of them. It turns whatever food is closest to the blade to mush and never even processes the food on top. The only way I could get it to work was to keep taking the lid off and stir it up and try again. It absolutely cannot chop a thing. If you want everything to be the consistency of guacamole, you'll be happy. Otherwise, say your money and bu y a real food processor.

I have been making healthy breakfast smoothies in a blender and they are okay....so I thought maybe I was being too extravigant. Not so. This makes a healthy smoothie in a flash and is easier to clean. It processes food faster and gets a smoother consistency. I love the bullet. It saves me so much time... I cook a lot and make a lot of healthy veggie dishes...I often need small amounts for bases to sauces and the blender is a pain for that... The bullet is perfect and even allows me to cook fancier dishes. I LOVE IT!

I've had my bullet for almost 5 years and just bought one for my mom for mother's day because she loved mine so much. Great product, use over my blender anyday.

If you are an athlete, or have a house full of athletes, a Magic Bullet can really improve nutrition and post-workout recovery. I am a runner and have used mine daily for over 2 years without problems. After adding in the teenage athletes in my house and the quick breakfasts, the average use has been well over 100 smoothies per month.The mug container perfectly accommodates a single serving of smoothie or protein shake. Four mugs lets each person set up and go independent of each other. The des ign lets you quickly spin together your favorite ingredients, and the integrated covers let you store what's left. The volume and profile of the containers makes it simple to obtain the perfect consistency every time, since the natural void space between banana chunks, frozen fruit chunks, and so on gives the right proportion of liquid when filled to just cover the solid ingredients.I rate this 4 stars instead of 5 because the 2-blade grinder works OK for oily nuts and beans, such as grinding coffee. Tilting and shaking the grinder helps stir the grind and prevent fines from clumping at the base. [...] I use my Bullet to prepare 4-oz batches of espresso grind from coarsely ground coffee, taking about the same time as for running several smaller batches through my coffee mill and with the advantage that the bullet container is convenient to store and cover. The 2-blade grinder works better for blending dry and wet ingredients. We use the shaker cover to sprinkle home-made barbecue rub on grilled meat.Everything is cleanable in the dishwasher. Usually, though, I just rinse the blades and hand wash the mug when I'm done. Clean threads helps keep a good seal for next time.If you do not make a good seal between the blade unit and the mug, sticky ingredients can leak out. The unit is designed so that leaking liquids avoid the electrical parts and seep out through gaps in the bottom, keeping you safe. However, if the liquid is sticky, the spring-loaded bars that activate the motor can become glued tight to the body. Then, the plastic tabs on the mug rim, which engage with and push the spring-loaded bars, can break if you decide to try brute force and push down too hard. Since 3 tabs must all engage, any broken tab makes the mug unusable. This problem has a simple remedy --- with the unit unplugged, spraying a cleaner along the spring-loaded bars will dissolve sticky residue, and spraying a little warm water to rinse and wiping with a cloth should return the unit to normal function.This product is robust, versatile, and uniquely sized for individual servings. It is a great value for the price.

I love my Magic Bullet and use it often. I use it to make smoothies with chunks of frozen greek yogurt, frozen berries, milk and little bit of ice and blends perfectly!!

My Magic Bullet lasted a good 4 years, when one of the blades became dull within a year, company replaced it for free. I bought a [...]after mine died, and within 18 months both blades are kaput. It cost about a third, never worked as well as the Magic Bullet, and is going in to the trash in 1/3 of the time.

I use this everyday to make baby food. It is so easy to clean and gets the job done. I have never been tempted to get out my blender or food processor. I've also used it to make smoothies for my older daughter. It works great for that too! I've also made pesto and pureed homemade tomato soup...everything has turned out perfectly!

The magic bullet is great for making shakes, smoothies and more. It's very easy to use, easy to clean, mess free and comes with all kinds of extra cups and lids.

I use this thing all the time, mostly for drinks but it can be used for many other things as well. I have not had one problem with anything I put in this thing, it is very powerful.
