Loctite Super Glue Gel Control has proven superior performance over ordinary super glues for seamless repairs. Specially formulated to fix any breaks around the home or office, this ethyl cyanoacrylate super glue works faster and holds stronger on more surfaces than ordinary adhesives thanks to a patented additive. Loctite Super Glue Gel Control works on a variety of porous and non-porous surfaces and is ideal for vertical applications or repairing a variety of materials. The patented easy side-squeeze design allows for maximum control and precise application with no dripping or running. Loctite Super Glue Gel Control dries clear in 30-45 seconds and is resistant to moisture, most chemicals and freezing temperatures. Loctite Super Glue Gel Control is not recommended for use in dishwasher, oven, or microwave, or for bonding Styrofoam, foam rubber, bone China, glass, glazed surfaces, silicone rubber, PTFE, polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), or polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Not recommended for situations where high flexibility is needed. Great for DIY projects or professional jobs, Loctite Super Glue Gel bonds leather, cork, paper, cardboard, wood, chipboard, fabric, metal, ceramic, rubber and hard plastics such as acrylic, polycarbonate, polystyrene and PVC.

A: Hi Karen, this super glue should work for your application. A better option would be the Loctite Ultra Gel Super Glue, which is more heat and shock resistent.

A: I’ve glued ceramic bowls and plates back together after breaking them and eaten on them without any worry of food safety. The glue becomes hard and should not end up in your food. Note: I do handwash those items from now on.

A: Thank you for the question. Loctite Super Glue Gel Control will bond leather. The successful use will depend upon the nature and severity of the repair needed on an open seam and available bonding surface. Unfortunately, there is no way to know if this will work in your situation.

A: Thank you for your question. Immediately after using Loctite Super Glue Gel Control, clean the tip with tissue and replace the cap. Make sure you store the product in an upright position.

Glues well but dries out
Glues well and the gel control is real -- it does not drip or smear. However, you only need to use a little and then the rest dries out in less than 3 months. It doesn't matter if you capped it well. So, next time you need to use you need to purchase another one. I bought the Gorilla glue similar product - have had that one for 2-3 years and it has not dried out.

Quick fix

Control bottle is easy to use & doesn't clog

Game changer for christmas ornament repair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hate pulling ornaments out of a tote and finding some of them have broken. Especially, those that were given to me as gifts over the years. I keep a bottle of this applicator gel super glue on hand for these types of situations. It is easy to apply thin beads on edges and it does drip off of the sides.
