Q: it says that they are 0.7mm so does that mean that the lead is much thinner than the classic yellow Ticonderoga pencils?

A: Hi Mack, no, these are the same diameter as the classic pencils. All regular #2 Ticonderoga pencils have a 9/32" diameter. There are Ticonderoga wood pencils that are thicker than that diameter, but none that are thinner. Hope you have a great day!

Superior Graphite Pencils!
These are amazing pencils, just what you’d expect from Ticonderoga! These were always the “fancy” pencils growing up, and they still perform amazing to this day! The pencil writes smooth and bold on paper, and the eraser is able to handle it’s own. The pencil is sleek, harder to snap than your average pencil, and can smoothly sharpen without consistently breaking off, refusing to sharp or creating those jagged edges. They Don't Leave a Line on Paper
These are the worst pencils you could imagine. I bought them because they're painted black. I figured nowadays a pencil is a pencil when it comes to the "lead". Nope. These things barely leave a gray haze on notebook paper, let alone a crisp black line. It's like writing with a piece of plastic.
