A: no. it does not have remote or even an off switch. you have to unplug it to turn it off.

A: The memory function doesn't work, as it always cycles through all of the other annoying blinking light settings and you need to re-select the one you want each and every time. Disappointing!

Q: Is there a way to keep the lights held on a certain pattern? They keep cycling through on their own every 30 seconds, but I want them to stay on a single pattern.

I hang these in front of my giant floor to ceiling windows in my “Florida room” and they make the space so dreamy. I originally hung them as Christmas lights, but I’m so in love with the vibe they give that I hang them year round now. Clear command hooks for lightweight stuff came in handy for hanging. Bought three sets.. after 4 days... one of the sets started flickering when you would first plug it in and then on the 4th day I plugged it in one of the LEDs started smoking and was burning from the inside .. glad I saw it because they could have definitely started a fire

I wouldn’t use these year round or for daily use, as I know these won’t last very long. I only put them up during Thanksgiving until New Year and turn them on for no more than 6 hours, so a timer would be a good idea. So far so good. I like the aesthetic and the warm, relaxing vibe it brings. I bought one for my daughter’s playroom and one for the family room.
