Q: I sometimes hang shirts to dry... will the color of the black hangers bleed onto wet shirts?

A: Hello texasmom - We appreciate your interest in this product. It is NOT recommended to put wet shirts on velvet hanger. Velvet hanger is designed for putting clothes with non-slipping function. Putting wet shirt on velvet hanger increase the friction/abrasion on flocks upon moving and thus erode the flocks which are glued on surface. Black velvet hanger unlikely bleed onto wet shirts on occasion. However, with the increase frequency of putting wet shirts on hangers, it is likely to bleed on the shirts, especially the shirt is light color. Hope you like the product - San

These hangers are such high quality for the price. They are sleek (all black) and functional (no slipping due to the felt). I work at an apparel company and we use them for all of our trade shows. Highly recommend!

I was so excited to get these but when I pulled them out of the box the flocking went everywhere. I bought the white ones and there was little white fabric all over my clothes. None of mine were broken like other reviews mention but some of the flocking was already rubbed off the hangers just from the packaging. They’re cheap but not cheap enough to be this messy.

These hangers produce a lot of lint so they are not ideal for dark clothing. Mine were also rusted straight out of the box and brand new.

Initially I loved them but then realized the dye used, although light, if hanging anything wet on them would run and show on anything light. On a couple of white sweatshirts I had a hard time getting it out and one you can still see a bit. I would go with the plastic/rubber coated vs these. They are much easier to slip clothes onto anyway.

While thin and lightweight, 4 were broken right out of the box. Three broke while hanging up t-shirts. The hangers get the job done but they are flimsy and break easily. I know I will have to replace them sooner or later. The price was great - $36 for 100 hangers but I guess the got what I paid for.

Wanted to love as I’ve been looking for thinner hangers to save some space on my closet. I love the look and feel of these hanger but they shed like crazy. Pulling them out of the box I attempted to dust them off thinking it was just the top layer but these stained my lighter clothes and there’s little velvet dust everywhere.
Clothes stay perfectly in place, no sliding off the hanger.

These hangers are great, I don’t like the look of velvet hangers but I never have to worry about my clothes slipping off. The only downside is that they’re not very flexible so I have broken a few trying to get them into a tight neck. The price is great for the amount. My closet is completely full and I still have lots leftover.
