A:Â Hi Love2shop - It isn't recommended to use this organizer as a seat since the maximum weight capacity is just 20 pounds. Have a great day! - Philip
A:Â The total weight bearing capacity is 50 pounds so if the child is this light it can support her. However it is 2 feet high. She CANNOT use the shelves to climb up. They will not support her weight.
A:Â No! Would not advise!
A:Â Not at all! It will bend and brake becareful!
A:Â No, because the child would fall through it and break something.
A:Â I think you could use it to store many office supplies, but not reams of paper. Since according to the product information: "Weight capacity is 15lbs per cube shelf," you would be very limited to three reams in each cubby and since most paper is 11" wide or more, it would be a tight squeeze to get paper to fit into a cubby, but you could stack a seven reams on top if used vertically and ten if used horizontally (assuming letter size paper).
A:Â Product page says the shelving material is particle board and the surface is paper laminate. I don't know how sturdy these materials are in terms of office supplies.
A:Â Hi Maggie - Great question! This 6-cube organizer is the perfect solution for staying organized! This organizer is made from a wood laminate. Thanks for stopping by to take a look. - Julie
A:Â I agree with the questioner. If you stack two vertically, it would be over 72 inches high! If you stack them horizontally, it would be 48 inches high, which is much more realistic. Also the unit itself weighs 30 lbs. - barely under the 35 lb. weight the top shelf can support vertically, but under the 50 lb. weight the top shelf of the lower unit could support. However you would be limited to just 20 more lbs. in the upper unit, so it might not be that practical
A:Â I am hoping to stack vertically, because the height of 2 stacked together will be perfect for a closet. I am hoping it can be screwed together as well as to the closet wall.
A:Â Hello Wondering - Thanks for asking about this fantastic cube organizer. It is stackable in vertical orientation. Have a great day! - Christopher
A:Â Hi Kat - Thanks for checking. This organizing unit is not intended to be hung on a wall. It's intended to sit on an even surface. Have a great day! - Nathalie
A:Â I don't think so... it certainly doesn't come with the hardware to do so.
A:Â I just bought this, and the directions explicitly state it MUST be attached on the wall. I have to return it, because I do not want to fasten to the wall.
A:Â @Angela yes you can. The back panels come in handy if you want to stock the cube or place many items in it.
A:Â It's been a while since I assembled it. But I believe you can just leave the cardboard panels off the back!
A:Â The panels are part of the support structure and keeps the shelves square. They say you need to put them on
A:Â According to the product information: "Weight capacity is 15lbs per cube shelf."
A:Â Copied from the Target website for this item: Highlights (I just copied the "Highlights to this question) Weight capacity is 15lb s per cube shelf. When used vertically, top shelf weight capacity is 35lbs When used horizontally, top shelf weight capacity is 50lbs
A:Â Hi M - Thanks for asking. The maximum weight capacity is 20 pounds total. Hope that helps! - Nathalie
A:Â Hi Kayla- Thanks for your question. We don't recommend stacking two shelving units together, for safety reasons. They can be used vertically or horizontally to give them some additional versatility. We hope this helps! - Amber
A:Â They are not made to be stacked, but you could if you secured them to a wall. If not secured to a wall, they would be in danger of tipping.
A:Â I would think as long as the units are screwed together and anchored to the wall, it shouldnt be a problem. I am going to do this with 2 units vertically for a walk in closet. Ikea has a similar unit to do just that, but not in stock, hence me buying it elsewhere.
A:Â Cubes measure 11.3" X 11.3" X 11.73" deep. except for the bottom which is slightly larger at 11.6" x 11.6" X 11. 73" per diagram on Target website.
A:Â Hi Anonymous - This storage cube will help keep organized! It works best with an 11 Inch Cube Storage System. We hope this helps with your decision! - Dee
A:Â Yes, you can take it apart to some extent. But the back panels are nailed on, so it would be a challenge to remove without damage.
A:Â Hello jcon - Thanks for your interest in this organizer! Adult assembly is required and tools are not provided. We hope this helps with your decision! - Dee
A:Â If you have a very lightweight TV, say a smart TV, this would work as a TV stand. I have a 24" on one and a 32" on another one in a different room. Both TVs are newer so they don't weigh much. An older heavy TV might be too heavy.
A:Â Hi sagarshah - This is the perfect organizer for storing some of your favorite things however, it is not intended to be used as a TV stand. Thanks for browsing Target.com! - Terra
