Extender piece “fix”: remove the decorative end piece from the thinner pole, put it on the extra thicker rod included, the skinny pole then becomes your extender!!!! It shows this in the instructions as well but I think some people (like myself) are trying to fit them together straight out of the box and not checking the instructions thinking incorrect parts were sent so they couldn’t install it. Nope just switch em around! These rods are beautiful and pop against our medium tone blue walls so nicely.
