Q: Hi, does inner glaze has any dangerous chemicals, such as PFAS or similar ones. Does it BPA free? Does the stoneware have any heavy metals, lead or similar?

A: Hi Tanya -- Thank you for reaching out! These mixing bowls do not contain any PFAs or BPAs or any heavy metals. As stoneware/ceramic is naturally derived from clay, it's important to note there will be lead and cadmium within the material composition. But as these are fired for nearly 12 hours at over 1200 degrees Celsius (about 2100 degrees Fahrenheit) to bond the clay particles and solidly the glazing, both lead and cadmium are controlled within Target's standard testing range.

Arrived broken like ever other reviewer wrote. The 2 smaller bowls are fine which I like but the largest bowl is broken!!! Would be nice to just replace the largest bowl and not haul the whole box back to Target as it is heavy.

Mine didn't come damaged, but they are not cream. They have this ugly gray glaze on them which makes them look dirty. Doesn't match the cream canister set.

They arrived in chards. I took a chance that target learned their lesson as to packing. June 26 and target is still creating pretty landfill out of Chip and Joanna's beautiful bowls. They were sent in 2 flimsy boxes with very little packing. Since these bowls are only available shipped and target does not know how to do it, Joanna should ship them to target in thick boxes with heavy cardboard or styrofoam packing that would not allow them to move and rattle en route. These boxes should be tightly sealed like the glasses and pasta bowls I ordered. They arrived undamaged. Looks like not one customer got to enjoy a full set of Joanna's bowls thanks to Target.

This item is a hot commodity. I was able to get a hold of a set, it arrived broken. Set my target alert to notify me when restocked. I was able to get a hold of a second set arrived destroyed. So disappointing to get your hands on an item that’s difficult to get and you’d think target employees would know this BRAND is a hot commodity to their company and have better guidance on how to ship the brand items out as a lot of it is stoneware. They need to learn how to put some fragile labels all over their boxes. I can’t imagine how many people purchased this item much to their excitement only to be disappointed that it arrived, broken and shattered into pieces. Waste of production, waste of time, waste of money.
