I like these spoons, especially the generous holes in the handles which make it easy to hang them on hooks. The downside is that the finish is achieved with a hard plastic film that will start to come off after a few uses. This is frustrating, not just because it is wasteful and unecessary, but because it feels like now we eat just a little bit of plastic each time I use these, which can't be healthy. The good news is that once the plastic started to come off, I was able to scrub the rest off with a scouring pad — which is a lot of work to put into what was otherwise a nearly new set of measuring spoons. They still look nice! Don't put a temporary finish on my kitchen tools just so they look good in the store!
