I was very hesitant to get these after reading a ton of reviews on black or gold silverware scratching easily and leaving water spots from the dishwasher. If you aren’t sure, get them now! I’ve had a 8 sets now for about 4 months and they still look perfect. Dishwasher leaves a few water spots but they are barely noticeable. And no way am I hand washing all my silverware. A few do have slight scratches, but no more than my old stainless ones. The shape is actually super ergonomic. Comfortable in your hand and each of the large/small forks and spoons are the perfect size. I was bored with standard silverware and so glad I got these. So cute, get tons of compliments, and it makes me smile to open the drawer. Only con is that I do have to use the silverware separator in my dishwasher. The handles are thin so they fall through the holes otherwise. But I like how sleek they are so prefer them thin.
