[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Amazon echo is so amazingly useful to have around. I love having the time displayed and having a whole world of knowledge at my beck and call. A simple "Alexa" and you can ask her anything you want, or program her to do tasks for you. I can control my lights, my robot vacuum even my thermostat within the Alexa app. It's a beautiful convenience and so easy to set up. I'm thoroughly enjoying the experience. For an added bonus, especially if you have teenage boys, be sure to tell Alexa you farted for a fun surprise. Highly recommend!

I have the app so I can talk through to the kids to check in or just to communicate things. This has been so much fun. It always hears us, and the sound is very clear.

Sound is a little better, aesthetics are better, etc. I love it as an in-bedroom device though! The clock is just enough to see when you wake up, without being too bright. It also shows what's playing at the time, which is nice.

The app is super easy to use and pairing my phone to it didn't take long at all. The one thing I was shocked to see and absolutely loved was when I play music the speaker shows the song title and artist .

It’s so convenient to use for reminders, setting timers, playing music, whatever you need it for. The speaker itself plays music at a really good quality. Color of the device is perfect.

First, I really love the color and I really appreciate the added clock display (which also shows music info when playing music). The functionality of it has been great - we use it to check the weather, play music (which sounds great and is the favorite feature of our little girl!), or ask general questions. The sleek design of the sphere and the cloud blue color is aesthetically pleasing. It's very easy to setup this device through the app and it connects to my existing amazon account with no difficulties. This newer version has a clock display that is very handy. The led display is very bright and can show not only the time but also the weather, song titles. . . and so much more. I like how I can stay informed about vital information, today I was notified automatically of a weather warning for my area which is a great feature. Connecting smart devices to the echo dot is easy to do. I connected all my smart lights and now I can tell my echo dot when I need a light on/off and I can also adjust the brightness too. One feature I really enjoy using is "drop in". You can use this device like an intercom. When I am in another room I can talk to others using my phone which is connected to the echo dot, such a great feature. Listening to audiobooks and music is another feature that works really well, the sound is perfect. This echo dot has so many great features, I highly recommend this product.

Set timers, play music, tell my kid a joke. It does a lot. I love that it has a clock that shows on the face so you can easily see the time. Or you can ask Alexa. It’s also great for setting timers while you’re cooking.

Alexa understands everything we ask and there are no lags. Definitely recommend this! It is so easy and convenient to use and looks really cute on my nightstand.
