This game is great, just for the fact that you can play with as many people as you want! Fun, challenging, interactive, and easy to pick up and play but complex the more strategic you wish to get

This is a great little "roll and write" style game. It's quick and easy to learn, easy to teach, and easy to play... but so much fun! And you can play with any size group. I've played and/or own hundreds of different board games, and this is definitely in my top 5! Highly recommended!

This game is super clever and is packed with tons of innovative ideas. It makes you feel super clever when you play it. It is the best 'flip and write' out there.

Simple rules, lots to think about

The basic idea is to draw shapes to build your map to achieve goals. The rules are simple, but there is a lot to think about each turn. Simultaneous play, so there is little down-time. Variable goals mean every game is different. No one is eliminated. Each game is about 30 minutes. This is one of our very favorite games.

I can’t recommend this game highly enough! You can play with any number of people, every game is going to have different scoring conditions, and it’s pretty easy to teach to gamers and non-gamers alike. I have played this in groups ranging from 2 to 10 people and every single person has enjoyed it. I keep coming back to play it again and again. Cartographers is a must-have.

Cartographers is a fantastic write style game where you create a map based on a card drawn over a series of rounds scoring points based on objectives. Not incredibly complicated but a ton of fun at any age and any player count, even just one! Very fast set up to play and tear down when you're done that also can spark a little creativity when coloring in your map. Played in our household quite often!

Cartographers- another great game set in the Roll Player Universe!

This is a great game to play with gamers and non gamers. It’s in my top 10 games of all time! Get the whole family involved as this game plays at large counts as long as you’ve got enough map sheets. Certain types of terrain will score in each season. Flip a card from a deck, choose which Tetris like terrain shape you want to draw on your map and for the added fun and relaxation- color it in! Then score for each season. The one with the most points at the end of the game wins but watch out for those monsters, (drawn by your neighboring opponent) they’ll try to screw up your map design and cost you negative points! Any flip and write game that involves colored pencils or crayons, automatically count me in! This game is always fun and with all the different map packs offered, no game is ever the same! I highly recommend Cartographers!

The joy of cartographers is actually drawing your map. Funny, because it feels like work! Yet it is calming and satisfying, thinking work. I played this game over and over, even solo, upon purchasing it. Cartographers is a much deeper game than I initially thought it would be. On the surface, we all get the same pieces, the same scoring conditions, and the same chance and doing well. And then the game happens- everyone decides to make trade offs, and soon, everyone's board is different and you find yourself in a winning position, or languishing behind in last place! The monster cards can really mess you up! Those who choose not to deal with them will suffer consequences. I like thinking ahead of what will score now, and what will score in the future. This keeps you focused in the present with one eye always looking ahead. Knowing how points from coins will compound over time, or negative points from monsters will also compound are important considerations.

LOVE THIS GAME

I seriously have went through almost the whole map pad and I have only owned it for a month. One of my personal opinions is also have some colored pencils because it just enhances the overal beauty of your map. It's a flip and write game which is different from anything in the market right now. There is also a cool "take that" element where you have to pass to your partner and they can mess with your map. You can play this with 1 or 10000000 players. Just need enough maps. GET THIS GAME!
